1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I belong to a middle-class family of Chirmiri town of Chhattisgarh. I did my schooling from my hometown only. My parents were not so lucky to have an education. But, realizing the value of literacy, they tried their best to give me and my sisters a good education and help us to become a better person.

When I came to Jaipur for my engineering, I was attracted to the Internet. There was no internet facility in my village. But I was aware of it. It was a master key for a room full of knowledge and opportunities.

Also, I was very fond of reading. So, I thought why not start some creative work on the Internet itself. I started researching digital fields and eventually decided to start my own channel on YouTube to cater to the needs of the people.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

During my engineering, I remember that I had a C++ exam which was tough for me, I borrowed a phone and took lessons from YouTube and cleared the exam. It was then I understood the value of internet and YouTube as a platform and that incident was the turning point of my life. It inspired me to start my own channel.

I arranged all the necessary stuff & equipment to record my first video and also learnt some technical things like editing and uploading videos. To increase public interface towards my videos, I learnt to use social websites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

From there on, I am working in this field with adequate research on both fundamental & analytical continuously.

3. Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?

I believe it depends on how old the YouTuber is.

For example, a teenage vlogger giving too much time to YouTube is definitely under more risk than an adult as he will be giving a lesser amount of time to his/her studies and other activities which are essential for his/her overall growth as a person.

Also, YouTube is an unpredictable online platform whose financial perks may go down at any point of time due to various unforeseen reasons.

I would say that while YouTube is an alluring prospect for many, aspiring YouTubers should not sacrifice their education and the development of other personal life aspects to make it big on YouTube.

A degree will help even if YouTube goes down someday. Though, if YouTube goes down, and one is left with no other skills and qualifications, things are bound to get difficult.

4. Who is your favorite creator and why?

Even though I try to learn from pretty much every other YouTuber, the title of my favorite YouTube goes to Sean Cannell, who is an international video influencer. I highly admire Sean and have learned a lot from him and his works over time.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

I dedicate a large part of my time in researching and finding solutions to various social and technical problems. This helps me get a huge amount of data that I can process and use in order to come up with different kinds of content.

For example, I chose TikTok and then the next 2-3 months were dedicated on covering various sub-categories concerning TikTok. I believe giving time to research helps a great deal in finding and coming up with new content ideas.

Other platforms where I acquire data & ideas from
·  Newspaper
·  Social Media
·  Quora
·  YouTube & Google
·  Trending News, etc.

6. What does your typical day look like?

While it may sound full of praise and compliments, my typical day is a very strategically planned sequence of events. I come from a SEO background and also love Mathematics & numbers, I have designed my daily routine very precisely.

My day begins with 30 minutes of exercising and an hour of meditation. I then give 9 hours to my office work, 2 hours to daily chores, and 2 hours to social media and learning.

7. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

No one is born perfect. So, put the hesitation and nervousness on the shelf and just do it. Give your best shot at whatever you are eager to do, be it YouTube or any other career for that matter.

New YouTubers are generally let down for not possessing high-end equipment like cameras, microphones, premium editing software, and the ability to face the camera, among others.

However, none of it matters if you have the zeal to make it big and are good with patience and hard work.

Every day is a new day, so, just keep moving forward and do your best. Keep learning new things and implement them in your work as well.

Points to remember to attain success on YouTube.
·  Don’t hesitate
·  Don't shy from learning and doing something new
·  Have patience
·  Be ready to work hard

All in all, don't be afraid of challenges, always ask for help, have good mentors, take calculated risks, believe in yourself, and never give up.

If you keep believing in yourself, the world will believe in you!
