1. Tell us more about yourself and your profession.

I am a young entrepreneur, public figure & a model. I have appeared on many news channels, news papers, YouTube channels speaking and  promoting Natural Fitness around the globe, inspiring millions against the use of unnatural substances or steroids for physique building.

I am the Founder of BUILT NATURAL which is a bold performance Active wear brand, made with eco-friendly technologies to make you the best version of yourself. Thus, I am widely known as the "Natural Indian".
I am is also the Director of JaiRaj Group of Industries, which is engaged in manufacturing of Automotive components & plastics products since the last 33years.

I have done many photoshoots for various brands like Coke, Nokia, Shivan & Naresh, etc. and walked the ramp at Wills Fashion week, India. You can reach me out on my verified Instagram handle "@bhavayachawla"

2. What is your fitness mantra?

Consistency is the only key. You have to be back at it again and again, each day, each workout, each meal counts. Thus the outcome is always controlled by your own-self.

3. What are some of major misconceptions about diets and exercises?

Many blame India being a Vegetarian dominant Country for Protein Deficiencies.
As per research , more than 73% Indians have Protein Deficiency.
The human body does not differentiate between Vegetarian & Non-vegetarian. Protein can go into our systems through any source.
For vegetarians, Rajma, Paneer, Moong Daal, Channa Daal, oats, beans, curd, soya etc. - so many types of high protein meals are available.
There are also plant based or vegan supplements available now to help you reach your nutritive values.

Women not doing strength based exercises, assuming to gain muscle mass like Men.
It is not possible as Females do not consist of  'testosterone ' -  a male sex natural growth hormone.

Parents Consider Gym Not Safe for Children.
It is absolutely Safe. Even the school bags are as heavy as a dumbbell.
Its rather safer than playing sports like Football or karate where risk of injury is much higher.
At the gym, the right foundation building is all that is required.

Eating Huge Meals or Excess of Protein than required by body.
Human Body can only digest the actual amount of protein it needs.
Normally, a human body needs 1.1gm of Protein/kg of body weight.
For people who are exerting & exercising, 1.8gm of Protein/kg body weight is more than sufficient.

People considering Gym or Fitness only for Youngsters.
I would rather say, gym & strength training is most important for people above 50 years of age.
Many times we see old people walking with a stick & having difficulties in climbing stairs.
It is not because they are ill or have any disease , it is because their muscles are not able to lift their own body weight.
Therefore, it is very important for adults to keep their muscles intact by training and having correct nutrition.

• EGO LIFTING - Lifting Heavy weights without keeping the Form of the exercise proper.
Correct form of exercise is a must. You have to target the correct muscle at the correct time.
Each body has its own potential of lifting.

4. How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Fitness is like a Tripod Stand:
1. Eat Right;
2. Train Right;
3. Sleep Right.

5. How can one build a successful career in your field?

Hard Work and Consistency is the key for any kind of success. However, only few are lucky to have their Passion as their Profession and I'm one of them.
If you are able to integrate the both, nothing can stop you!

6. What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone who wishes to lose weight?

Losing or gaining body weight is all about Calories going in & out. There are two basic things:
1. Start Keeping a daily track.
2. Leave Sugar.

7. How do diets and exercise contribute to overall well being and happiness?

Exercising is like Meditation, it is soothing to mental stress. Endorphins are released in your body while you exercise. Breathing gets controlled and oxygen levels are increased in your body and mind.
Exercise has a major positive effect on many chronic health problems like Diabetes, Arthritis, Functionality of the Heart, Obesity, etc.
You can only do the things you which make you happy and pursue your dreams if your body is with you.
Human Body is a very fragile machine. You take care of it and it shall take care of everything else.
