1. Tell me about you and your journey.

I started My Academy 10 years  ago from home, since was always passionate about makeup so decided to make it my profession.I am super excited to share some wonderful experiences of my journey as a makeup artist and makeup educator. 

Makeup Industry is an ever evolving industry. The only and only way for anyone to catch up with these trends is to stay tuned with latest news and updates via instagram, facebook, snap and so other social mediums i started loving make up as a kid and eventually grew up making my passion into my profession.

I truly believe in the power of Makeup and its magic which can create an ordinary looking girl into a Diva. My passion is surely going to help you all to get in and look your dazzling self. I have been training many students and empowering them to pursue their career as a makeup Artist. Can’t express enough my deep gratitude towards makeup and its power. 

Have trained and have been training many students to become professional makeup artist .and the beautiful journey is still on. I market my brand myself through Instagram and Facebook.

I also keep doing workshops which really help to promote us well. USP of our brand is that - we teach Joy , students learn to earn.These are the two basic principles we keep in mind and make it a fun filled journey for them at our academy .

Challenges are always there and will be there in any business, since i started room home, space of studio was less so i had to manage everything along .

As a matter of Fact i have done many Celebrity makeUps Like Mahima Choudhary, Upasana Singh, Nupur Mehta, International Brides  and make Up for many Models.

Shoots with HT City,Delhi 99 Get Glamorous and many magazines. .

I Have done Video shoots and Make UP tutorial and can also do more exclusively for Band Baja

2. Why did you choose this career?

This was my passion and true calling. So I made right directional efforts to  Reach out to my goal.Makeup happens to be my true calling .

3. How can one build a clientele as a makeup artist?

In today’s Digital world it’s very easy to showcase your talent to the target audience. One has to build a profile keeping in mind the exact audience one wants to capture and create your portfolio in accordance to that.Initially Barters and unpaid collaboration works wonders to create the content. 

Also one can offer free services to Media Houses and Fashion Designers to get hands on experience and build your expertise and alongside one definitely gets to build their portfolio . 

4. What are some of your top makeup tips?

Always wear makeup as per the Occasion. Decide your foundation as per the time of the day ( full coverage / medium / sheer )

Invest in good skin care as good skin is important to carry flawless makeup 

Sunscreen is very important aspect of skincare. Never step out without 

5. What kind of opportunities one can get after becoming makeup artist?

Unlimited horizons are there. One has to choose what is your true calling. Lot of people go for Fashion Makeup, Shoot Makeup, Prosthetic Makeup. All are lucrative and different fields of makeup . 

Beauty is Most lucrative( bridal and shoots). So one can choose from these verticals and plan their budget to grab the courses. 

6. Which professional courses would you suggest for aspiring artists?

Comprehensive makeup artistry which includes airbrush too . 

7. Your favourite book and why?

My favorite book is The secret by Rhonda Byrne 

This book teaches you how to use the power of your own mind to bring positive changes to your life and achieve your goals .
