1.   Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college.

Being the CR of Computer Science Department and member of Students Grievance Council along with Cultural Club, my responsibilities have always been vital and eminent.

Course Representative is itself a crucial responsibility. Whatever and whenever anything happens in the department, you are the one who is fore mostly questioned.

But thankfully, I was able to cope up quite well because of my mentors and friends.

2.   How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

I was kinda low-key person at school though I bagged 6 academic achievements and became Vice House Captain but it still felt somewhere that my purpose of life isn’t fulfilled.

I always like to be a leader, help others which were justified after I got prominent responsibilities in my college.

A student, infact nobody should ever wake up to just be average in order to succeed. We don’t fail we aim high and don’t achieve our goals but , because We aim low and achieve it.

Never fear from failures. Those who fail are much closer to success then those who never tried. So one shouldn’t ever loose hope in life and keep working on themselves without any satisfactions.

3.   What have been some of your biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

As the member Cultural Club and Grievances Council, I faced various challenges in organizing events , sorting out grievances  students but being mentioned earlier it was easier with the help of my mentors and fellows.

Currently I am working with 3SR Consultancy LLP as Digital Marketing Intern and it’s been the most overwhelming experience so far. Every week, we are given a new set of deliverable which are challenging in itself as being freshers we don’t hold much experience in the corporate field.

Also, not much resources are provided to us for achieving those deliverable. We just learn solitary about new technologies and create required ideas to implement it our plans. It is actually a gratifying platform for me to learn and gain corporate experience.

4.   What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

In the current internship, I am handling meetup group and managing their event posting. Company required optimizations in their websites so I built a new website after various analysis.

In the span of 2 months, I have amplified their audience outreach.

My work has always been well appraised which makes me feel proud of what I am doing and encourages me to keep empowering myself.

5.   What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Attending conferences and doing internships are the optimum ways for captivating new learning and specially amid these days of pandemic online webinar and work from home should be practiced by more and more students for elevating working exposures.
