Every Place Has Its Own Unique Identity and Food to Offer - Payal Bhatt

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

If I talk about my background then I belong to the science background but always had an interest in food and cooking, I always loved to cook new dishes at home and always wanted to cook more and try more dishes.

After coming to Ahmedabad I started my blogging journey and initially, I only posted homemade dishes, and eventually, my profile started attracting new followers organically. In-between I started exploring new food in Ahmedabad and Vadodara too, and which gave new content for my profile.

Eventually, that gave my profile a major boost and I started getting invitations from local restaurants along with brand collaboration and new menu launch that how the journey continued till now.

2. Which is your favorite cuisine and dish?

When it's about the food I always had difficulty in choosing a favorite specific dish, but favorite cuisine is South Indian and Italian and I always crave Pizza and Pasta. But Pani Puri is always a Love

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

For me, food blogging was a passion at the initial stage but eventually, I learned new strategies to create and spread original content which in the end landed me with some unique and famous brand collaborations, and that's how my earning started and right now I do blogging full time.

So I can say that it could be a full-time career if you keep learning and creating.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

To me, every place/restaurant has its own unique identity and food to offer, and I must say that if you love food and always wanted more then street food joints are also a great place in any city to have and enjoy your meal.

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

Multiple factors make me think about the dish and the restaurant. The first one is Ambience because if the vibe is not good you will not going to enjoy the food. The second comes Food Quality because freshly cooked food always tastes better.

The third is the service provided to the customer because that's how the customer is going to remember the place and going to refer it to the others.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

That definitely would be a Vegetable Salad made with fresh & exotic veggies.
