1. Tell us about your background and journey.

My life has been full of roller coaster ride. I tried many things as my career and started as Sports teacher in School to look for stable Career but somehow i always had hunger to do something I love and soon I realize that I had to move on.

In 2011 I got married and my brother gifted me a DSLR Camera, at that time photography was my hobby, this is when I started loving photography and who knew that this will turn everything around me? I began doing some work as a freelancer and got first professional break with Images Bazaar by Sunny Arora and Sandeep Maheshwari. Vikas Saboo, a lead photographer in Images Bazaar helped to nurture my talent.

2. How and when did you realize your passion for photography?

I started doing modelling assignment while i was pursuing Graduation from Delhi University. I always had been in front of camera and would always think how could I improve the picture and how can i work to enhance this. I would read so many articles about photography and check many photographer's work. I didn't go for formal education in photography but I was lucky to be surrounded by so many talented people like Sandeep Maheshwari and Vikas Saboo.

3. What are some tips you would like to share with amateur photographers?

Don't be in hurry, have patience and learn as much as you can from people experience. Start creating pictures from references and then bring your innovation on top of that. Don't just try to be photographer, try to be director of your own show and always think what can I improve further.

4. What are the important skills one should have to be a successful photographer?

Passion and innovation. If you are doing this to earn only bread and butter then this is not the right place for you. If you admire beauty and want people to check things from your perspective then you have to show that by capturing the moment correctly.

5. What are various opportunities available for aspiring photographers?

When I started then probably, we had to struggle a lot as information was not really available at your finger tips. now you have so many references and many online courses are available to help you out to learn. You have to just practice and practice. I always recommend the way I do the things "Learn by Doing".

6. Which is your favorite book and why?

Though I am not really great fan of reading books but yea I always love to read articles or watch movies. The one book/journey that has most inspired me is "Stay Hungry" by Arnold. If you have desire to get something that means you have to work for that not just think about that. Success comes to those who have bigger dreams, if you don't dare to dream big then you don't deserve big.
