1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Both of us are Doctors and currently doing our Internship at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad.

When we decided to start a food blog, we were still pursuing our MBBS and it was way too unusual for a Medico to do something this extracurricular. But with a little bit of courage, we decided to do it and today here we're, successfully running Lost In Flavours for 2.5 years now. The journey has been incredible.


2. Which is your favorite cuisine and dish? 

We are die-hard foodies and practically love all cuisines. But talking about our 'favorite' favorite, we love Mexican and Italian. Especially a good pizza or Mexican hotpot is something that we can eat every day. Also big fans of South Indian cuisine.


3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career? 

Looking at current trends in Ahmedabad, we think food blogging can just be passion and not a regular career. The scenario is different in Mumbai and Delhi where food bloggers earn A LOT. But no, not in Ahmedabad.


5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

First and foremost is food (obviously!). The quality of food, the quantity they serve for a given price, value for money, ambiance, and hospitality. For a particular dish, we appreciate its taste, presentation, and of course price.


6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with? 

We are the biggest dessert lovers. So one thing we associate ourselves with is Nutella Pancakes, no doubt. Way to our heart is through desserts!
