I get inspired to create my art from my family itself because during my childhood I used to draw a lot and from then onwards my family has been encouraging and supportive through thick and thin. They always believed that their child would do wonders in the field of art and no doubt is doing it already.
1. When did you decide you wanted to be a painter/illustrator?
I found the artist in myself when I was way too young, actually, my elder sister used to draw and paint stuff and I would really admire her work. This inspired me, further catching my interest in this field.
It led to the awareness that I always had the artist in me and I just had to find it. Some are born with talent and some need to find their own and finding myself on this path made me realise a lot of things. I got opportunities to experiment and learn new things.
2. Who is your favourite illustrator and why?
Well, there are many illustrators who are famous and are my favourites too. Naming one would be an injustice. I just want to say that, every artist has got his or her own way of illustrating things. One can't compare his or her work with other artists because everyone has got a different taste.
One of my many inspirations is certainly my friends because we teach each other. Learning from your friends does help you grow in any way.
But having said that, one should never compare themselves to others since it will only leave them questioning their own abilities while also judging or criticizing the work of others instead of focusing on their own work.
I personally believe that working hard on a work and then putting all the more efforts in the next work than the efforts I put in my previous work is what keeps me going. That's what every artist should do. One should find their own way and peace out.
3. Where do you get inspired to create art?
Inspiration comes from everywhere. One should have the vision to see it. A content creator believes in his or her vision rather than actually focussing on another's work.
First of all, I get inspired to create my art from my family itself because during my childhood I used to draw a lot and from then onwards my family has been encouraging and supportive through thick and thin. They always believed that their child would do wonders in the field of art and no doubt is doing it already.
Secondly, I see how my audience reacts to my content when I make it. This keeps me growing.
Lastly, I truly believe in myself. I've worked hard to achieve this and I'll continue doing the same. 'Self-made' is what truly defines me. Everyone should believe in themselves and surely they will start achieving great things by creating their own original and real form of art or content.
4. How and when did you realize your passion for photography?
Well Photography, Yes, I developed an inclination towards this field when I was around 16 years old and completing my higher secondary education.
Over the years my interest in photography has grown so much that I always try experimenting and looking out for new stuff to do in a better way. I have my own coool way! Learning and observation is the key to achieve heights.
5. What are the important skills one should have to be a successful photographer?
As I have already mentioned, one should find their own way of skill. A true photographer is one whose work is real. He or she should try and experiment with new things, that's when we develop our skills right?
6. What are various opportunities available for aspiring photographers?
There is no doubt that opportunities are widespread. One should find what they are good at and what they have an interest in.
I mean editing, videography etc. I don't believe in the concept that photographers don't have career opportunities. If you are good at something, your work will automatically be appreciated. Some kind of hard work and patience is all that's required to do it.
7. Which is your favourite book and why?
I do have an interest in books but I just don't find them! Lol! So I don't read books but whenever I'm free I do take out my brush and start painting or go for a shoot instead! If anytime, I'm in a mood of reading a book, then I definitely will!
