I Was a Food Enthusiast Much Before Starting My Page - Hardik Malik

Hardik Malik

I give 2-3 hours at least a day for editing videos and photos, caption writing, and engaging with some fellow bloggers. I also generally visit 2-3 restaurants every weekend for content. My favorite restaurant so far has been 'Shake Eat Up'.

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am a student of class 12th at DPS INDIRAPURAM studying commerce & having a great interest in cooking and newspaper reading. My journey has been great so far. In the beginning, I faced a little problem as I was not getting reach & likes but it's now smooth sailing.

2. What led you to do food blogging?

I was a food enthusiast much before starting my page (@paidaishi_foodie) but my interest in food blogging began when I met one of my friend's relatives (@foodiesince96) who was in the same field earning a decent sum of money from this. So I decided to give it a shot. This really turned out to be amazing.

I have received immense support from my family & friends. They always have my back.

3. What does your typical day look like?

I am still a school student preparing for my boards. My routine during lockdown has been the same for the past few months.

However, since I have been gaining followers & receiving collaboration midst COVID, posting has been frequent & my interest in food blogging has increased gradually. I give 2-3 hours at least a day for editing videos and photos, caption writing, and engaging with some fellow bloggers. I also generally visit 2-3 restaurants every weekend for content.

My favorite restaurant so far has been 'Shake Eat Up' (Satya Niketan). I really like the content created by @justdelhing & @the_foodie_dad.

4. When did you first decide that you wanted to create and write content about food i.e. for blogging?

As I mentioned above, my interest developed after meeting a renowned food blogger @foodiesince96 then I started my page after 10th class boards.

5. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I cherish Delhi's exquisite variety of street food, Chinese & obviously all Indian dessert.

6. Which is your favourite book and why?

I really don't like reading books but the best one I have read so far is 'The Subtle Art of not giving a ***k' by Mark Manson. This book really tells us that the key to be stronger is to handle adversity in our emotions and not trying to stay positive all time.
