Is Covid-19 A Positive Mission For Our Earth?

Well, we are fully aware of the great threat of Corona virus, which has infected almost every corner of world, be it super-powerful countries like USA, Russia or under-developed nations like Nigeria. The virus is spreading rapidly without planning to halt. Everyone is quarantined and to some extent, we are chained and locked inside our houses forcibly.

No matter what, those who are reading this are safe and sound. That's the important thing we have achieved from the 'self-quarantine' session. But today, I'm going to see this lockdown created by the  pandemic, called the Corona virus, through the eyes of the environment.

The entire world is following quarantine protocols to get over this deadliest disease, where the travel of people across the borders via airways, roadways, seaways have come to halt. Millions of registered cars, two wheelers etc. were forced to stay away from the road while construction and factory works have stopped. Everyone is frightened for their life, so they prefer to stay at home rather than being the victim of the virus.

Because of all these factors, our Earth is letting out a sigh of relief from the toxic air pollution, staid water pollution, noise pollution and so on. She is getting a chance to recover and heal. According to the IQAir, a Swiss-based air quality technology, compared the measurements of air quality in top ten most pollutant cities before and during the Covid - 19 pandemic which also includes our National Capital, Delhi. Reports have revealed a 'drastic drop' in air pollution in almost all countries compared to previous years.

The Elite Environment

In India, birds like peacock, deers and other wild animals are seen marching on an empty road happily, reminds us that they have not entered our territory rather we entered and destroyed their lands, forests, grasslands and so on. The Ganga in Haridwar is now fit for drinking, critically endangered, South Asian River Dolphins also known as the Ganges Dolphins have been spotted back in the Ganga river after 30 years. It's such a proud and ecstatic history in creation.

The Positive Side

I believe that she was badly wounded and in an utter need of time to recover, she took the help of Corona Virus. The bright side of this unfortunate happening is the improvement of our surroundings. The mission is in the run for a complete succession. Although it may sound delusive, the fact and truth is 'our Earth is healing' and I'm happy about it.
