The most important thing is hygiene and the quality of ingredients they are using then the variety in their menu. I always search for varieties. According to me every restaurant or cafe has a special touch even in regular dishes then, ambience and decor and plating (being a food blogger I am obsessed with good plating).

1. Tell Us About Your Background and Journey.

I would define my life as a roller- coaster ride. I was not a nerd during my school and college days, I enjoyed a lot my those days. I was a dancer, poet, an anchor, a sports girl, class monitor, everything except a scholar. I was not so much in books and library but for sure I was not worst...

Then I realised I can explain facts and concepts to others in a very interesting way. so, I started giving tuitions then I determined to help those students who are not so good in studies or those who don’t enjoy it.

I usually try to explain practically than theoretically. But the most inspirable part of my life is’ i deeply believe that you can do anything whatever you want to do or in whatever you believe. Never-ending courage and self-belief is my lifetime never-ending energy.’

Then I switched my path to food blogging as my second passion after writing. I am a privileged foodie, no matter what I eat, I will never put on weight.

2. What Led You to Start Your Page on Instagram and What Is It About?

When I was scrolling my Instagram during the lockdown, I realised that food blogging is meant to feature “bahar ka khana”. But during lockdown Food Bloggers started capturing their homemade food. My mother has great cooking skills.

Sometimes I used to do plating of dishes made by her and I enjoy taking pictures of dishes and posting them on WhatsApp. During the lockdown, Mumma started making new recipes to entertain us. Then I thought I should try once on Instagram. I started my pages for fun.

Initially, I featured dishes made by my mother. Later on, I started enjoying this a lot. I used to read new informative things about the food we eat. And today I am here with 12.4k followers in just 10 months.

When I look back I feel so pride in how far I have come since the day I started but I also feel blessed that I have my family for my support because as we all know new passion takes more attention, questions and pokes of society.

It looks weird when you continuously click 30-40 pictures of your food in front of people, but my family supported me a lot for every single step. Usually, I try to feature homemade food or local street food more but these days I am also covering cafe foods as well.

3. Which Is Your Favourite Cuisine and Dish?

South Indian (fried idli)... I have a very special memory with this dish, my mother used to cook this dish on my birthday for me and my close friends. They wait for the whole year to have the party on my birthday just because of my Mumma’s cooking skills.

4. Should Food Blogging Be Just a Passion or Can It Become a Regular Career?

Definitely, food blogging can be a regular career. I have 100 reasons to do food blogging. My most important reason is, it makes me happy, other jobs are stressful at some points but according to me, having my favourite food is the best therapy for stress.

Besides this, it is an opportunity to discover the precious flavours of India. There are so many dishes and spices which should be on the menu of every restaurant.

5. What Make You Appreciate a Particular Dish or a Restaurant and Talk About It on Your Blog?

The most important thing is hygiene and the quality of ingredients they are using then the variety in their menu. I always search for varieties. According to me every restaurant or cafe has a special touch even in regular dishes then, ambience and decor and plating (being a food blogger I am obsessed with good plating).

6. Is There a Dish You Particularly Associate Yourself With?

“Moong Dal Ke Pakode”. It is a favourite family time dish from my childhood, whenever I want to celebrate my craving. I would demand these pakodas from Mumma. This is my way to celebrate my craving happiness and lust for taste.

Whenever my taste buds got damaged, only these pakodas can wake them.

7. What Are You Currently Doing and What Does Your Day Look Like?

I am a full-time food blogger and teacher. Both my jobs are my passion and I never regret to choose these two carrier options. According to me, both the jobs are informative for me and also for related people.

I start my normal day with an energetic alarm, which prevents me from falling for sleep again (my second weakness after food) then I want a delicious breakfast. I can leave anything, I can skip my lunch or dinner but I never skip my breakfast.

After that, I take my classes, and then I hunt for different food if I can go out with my friends or family or I usually try new dishes with Mumma, I believe a simple fun routine is better than a fancy controversial lifestyle.
