Zubaria Mushtaq - Grow Your Audience Organically for Long Lasting Success

I have seen people changing their opinion about blogging and recognizing the fact that promoting their business through influencers and bloggers is worthy.

It is not a financially sustainable career now, especially in Qatar

Tell us about your background and journey?

I was born in Pakistan and brought up in Qatar. By profession, I am a chartered accountant (ACCA) with several other qualifications and working as an assistant audit manager.

Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

Being in Qatar which is a multicultural country and being a full-time foodie I love everything, but specifically, KFC is comfort food (I eat whenever I am depressed). Apart from this Pasta.

Should blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

I think it can be a regular career too, I can see in many countries there are registered bloggers. Hoping the same in Qatar one day inshAllah(Come true).

What led you to start your page on Instagram?

Honestly, the reason I started 5 years back is that I feel people are not genuine in their review, I personally wasted so much money when it comes to food, makeup or skincare.

So I just thought surely many people like me are looking for honest reviews then why not I will start.

Is it financially sustainable to be a blogger today?

As of now no but yes expecting it in future as recently in the past few months I have seen people changing their opinion and recognizing the fact that promoting their business through influencers and bloggers is worthy.

Do you have any tips for people who want to join this field?

Yes, a lot
1) Be honest to your review and gain trust.
2) Grow organically
3) Don't just pretend by posting all fancy things, be real and show your true self. (Personally, I follow the people I can relate to )
