1. Please tell us about your background and journey.

I am born and brought up in Pakistan, got my software engineering from Scotland UK, after completing the higher studies in 2010 I moved to an amazing city Dubai and started working here as Key Account Manager. 

We all read the reviews before visiting the place and I used to do the same until I was misguided by a fake review over the internet that really disappointed and embarrassed me, that was the day I myself decided to help others with the genuine feedback on restaurants and food, started reviewing specially food and other adventurous activities in Dubai city on my own, people appreciated my effort and I started receiving positive response from readers.

Moreover, I love exploring adventurous places and share the same to my audience on different platforms to keep them updated about what`s new in the city. 2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

I love eating Italian specially a dish called Risotto made with creamy Italian rice and slowly cooked in wine and seasoning with a little variation of garlic, meat and butter it taste delicious. Indian and Pakistani cuisine are my favourite too Who does not like Biryani?


3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

Absolutely my craze of blogging could be a career too, many food bloggers are doing exceptional work when it comes to food research, hosting food festivals and providing awareness and importance of a healthy and organic diet.


4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

Unfortunately, I cannot mention names but you can find out my reviews on Instagram, google, TripAdvisor for the restaurants and food by name of iamsyedfarooqahmed or my website www.letstalkreview.com , Some of the best Persian and Lebanese restaurants are located in downtown Dubai and if you are a fan of south Asian cuisine head towards Bur Dubai and Karama, give it a shot and it won’t disappoint you!


5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

Ambiance, food, hospitality, quality, quantity, presentation and off course how budget friendly it is and additional point adds when the restaurant has some kind of uniqueness in the menu.


6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I was waiting for this one! I am a cook by myself and love to make scrambled egg with green chili and slowly cooked chicken mince with capsicum and traditional south Asian spices. Being a blogger some of the restaurant allows access to the kitchen where I add variation by myself with the Chef.


7. Which is your favourite book and why?

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, the book came out in 1989 written by Stephen Covey is still the best in my opinion one should read at least once in life. Such an amazing writing have the potential to change the perception and approach of an individual towards practical life.
