1. Tell us about your background and your journey.

I am 20 years old, belonging to an orthodox middle-class family. I started creating content 8 months ago and within 3 months of time, I was published in a national magazine called “FEMINA”. I can’t think of anything else that made me so happy.

That’s when I decided to work harder and push myself to achieve more. I started getting collaboration requests and was also featured in another international magazine called PPMC. I'm currently working with brands like Prolixr, Neutriderm, RewardPe, UrbanOG, Spot Patch, Supp Nutrition etc.

2. What inspired you to begin creating content?

Belonging to an orthodox family I have always had issues going out on a regular basis. Being an extrovert, college, internships and events were something that I couldn't afford to miss.

So initially when I started modelling I was not able to manage my time for travelling for shoots and my academics considering various reasons. And that is when I started creating content as it involves my efforts and excludes travelling often.

3. What were your first steps towards content creation?

I started my Instagram page through modelling. It all started with a friendly shoot with a friend of mine. I felt content creation would be something that I could use to communicate with people and people will know me from in and out.

And obviously this pandemic and quarantine situation made my thoughts very specific on creating content and am discovering new things every day for me and my viewers.

4. Who is your favourite creator and why?

My favourite creators would be Malvika Sitlani and Larissa D’sa.

Being a digital content creator or an influencer, it is always important to relate to the public and the viewers, but most of the macro influencers tend to forget that due to a number of brand collaborations.

So for an influencer, it is so important that you choose your brands wisely. I feel Malvika and Larissa don’t collaborate with many brands and confuse the viewers. I feel as an influencer it’s important that you know what you are influencing because you never know how many people come to your account for your views and suggestions.

5. Is content creation a financially sustainable career?

Yes, unlike other career options, being a content creator has its own pros and cons. Consistency, innovation and engagement play a key role in terms of earning more money. One should always be creative to attract more brands for collaborations.

6. What advice would you like to give to aspiring creators?

One advice I would like to give is “Be yourself and Be unique”. The more you worry about the numbers, the more conscious you get. So just keep doing what you do and everything will fall into place.
