1. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

For achieving anything in life, 3 factors are must:  learning, experimenting, and motivation. No matter how much you learn, there are always new things to learn. As a photographer, experimenting is as important as learning. Without trying things yourself, you cannot know if it's suitable for u or not, so one has to keep experimenting. Sometimes, the results would be amazing sometimes depressing, but keep ur motivation high is what makes the difference. For students, the most difficult part is finding a balance between studies and passion. With a little effort, everything is possible.

2. What's it like to juggle between a leadership role and normal college life?

Juggling between anything is difficult. The best option is to balance the efforts in both studies and passion (for me Photography) otherwise excelling in one would mean becoming the failure in others. The biggest challenge for me was finding the right balance. For overcoming this, I had to know exactly what I am capable of, only then I could find that sweet spot of my efforts. For example, if I could manage 1-2 hours daily for photography, I could practice enough of what I learned the previous day.

3. How can we encourage more young students such as yourself to take-up leadership roles?

Encouraging someone to follow their passion is like telling someone to breathe. They already know they have to do that but the constraints of society, family, economy, studies, and many other factors hold them back. If someone helps them find a balance between their responsibilities and passion, they surely would follow their dreams and passion.

4. Do you have a message for parents to allow their kids to do things besides academics? What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

Students need to follow their passion as well as their careers. As for me, student life is a phase where we all learn new things, we try things, we fail, we fly, we can do whatever we want to because no matter what happens, no matter how hard you fall, parents are always there to pick u up and support you. It's a privileged phase that's not going to come back again. Thus, I would request parents to support their child in new endeavors maybe they will fail, maybe they will fly that doesn't matter, what they would remember for the rest of their lives would be that u were there when they needed u to be, n that's what matters.

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Internships and conferences are great platforms to learn and showcase your knowledge and perspective. I would highly recommend students from any stream to attend seminars and not just as an audience but also as participants. Internships provide an opportunity to get hands-on experience of whatever you learned in the books. If that doesn't satisfy you, then you should know that the certificates of participation of seminars and internships add credibility to your CV and can play a decisive role in interviews.
