If I Created My Own Channel I Would Be Able to Act Without Audition - Sheikk (YouTuber)

 

 I tried many satellite channels as a Video jockey but i didn't get a proper chance to showcase my talents. In that period I told to myself that whatever I have learnt wouldn't fail. So from that day itself I used to post regular facebook Live videos and through that I gained many people hearts and one fine day 10 thousand members attended in my live video. 

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I was born in a middle class family in madurai located in south india. In my school Days everyone dreamed of becoming  Scientist and Doctors but my one and only dream was to become an actor because from 1st Standard I used to act in dramas and participated in many interschool Culturals. After 12th grade I tried to pursue my higher studies in Viscom but unfortunately I landed up taking commerce. 

In the meantime I tried many satellite channels as a Video jockey but i didn't get a proper chance to showcase my talents. In that period I told to myself that whatever I have learnt wouldn't fail. So from that day itself I used to post regular facebook Live videos and through that I gained many people hearts and one fine day 10 thousand members attended in my live video. 

Then I worked in few You tube channels in south India and that gave me confidence to start a You tube channel in the name of Madras Diaries.

2. What attracted you towards starting a You tube channel?    

                             

I tried attending movie auditions but got rejected. So if I created my own channel I would be able to act without audition and that I would also be able to lead the team. In this period only many South Indian youtubers started to glitter. So I tried starting my own channel and now am one of them.

3. How and where do you find inspiration for your content?

The thing is I don’t get my inspiration from YouTube content or any other YouTube videos. The idea is we are startup and our goal is to do feature films. So, we get insights from many films and implement those techniques in our videos and make it look more like featuring a film. 

4. What are the challenges that most of the youtubers like you face while delivering their content?   

                         

You tubers have time constrain like they have to deliver videos at least once in a week. It was very hard for us to put videos frequently in starting stage and the main thing is the copyright issues. As a beginner no one is aware of that so that might be the challenges that most of the you tubers face.

5. What advice would you like to give to the aspiring and budding artists like you?

As a budding artist we don’t get paid. We might have many family issues. We don't have a  proper identity until we succeed. So trying and proving is the only thing we have to focus. So this is not an advice, this is my quote and trying to follow that.
