Born in Charlotte, NC, and raised in South Florida. Scorpio. 29 Years Old. Influencer/Influencer Manager.
1. Tell us about your background and journey.
Born in Charlotte, NC, and raised in Miami, FL. 29 years old. I am a full-time influencer and influencer manager. So I am on both sides of the spectrum in the industry. I have been doing this for 4 years.
2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?
I was an aspiring model at first but didn't feel like it was going anywhere. So I turned to social media (back then when it was getting started) to see if it would help, and it did! I ended up making more than what I would be doing modeling & started to network more with notable brands.
I first started as a travel blogger, but ever since COVID hit, I turned more to fashion and lifestyle niches, which worked out for me in the end.
3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?
I would say that a blogger does more on their website/blog and uses their page to post their own valuable content. An influencer is someone that uses their IG to push out ads for brands in hopes to spread an impact on their audience's buying decisions.
4. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?
First, I tap into my own creativity to do my own content. I like doing things my way to make sure it's original and authentic. If I have "content block" I'll turn to my friends or other influencers like myself for inspiration. Changing locations for shoots helps as well, so in that regard, it's nice to travel!
5. Who is your favorite creator and why?
Ugh, this is so hard! I love my friend's content such as @thejessicaexperience, @jilissa, @oliviapw, @alexacollins & @vanessachristine. I don't really have a favorite because I appreciate everyone's content and own creativity. I like to say we are a squad haha.
6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?
My mantra is Collaboration Over Competition. Social media is overlooked as being more than just competitive. Therefore, I like to be friendly and try to help everyone out as much as I can! I love to do it.
I like to collaborate with other influencers: meet them, get to know them, form a friendship, help them with partnerships, etc... I guess that's where my management skills come in haha.
So that's how I like to work. If we are in the same industry, we should work together, not against each other.
7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?
Well, I think anyone can. I do consulting and management too, so if anyone needs help please DM or email me! I think some of the things you need to have are a niche, a camera, scout locations to shoot, and an email.
That's it! Media kits are a plus too and now needed in influencer marketing. I make them as well! Link is here: https://www.fiverr.com/share/wWGVY8
8. Which is your favorite book and why?
Great Gatsby, because of love, glamour, & drama. The movie was good too!
