Sex is a basic need of our life. People need the same or opposite sex to satisfy their needs. There's nothing to make a fuss about. It is a process of life. It’s a physical way of expressing love to someone. We are ashamed of publicly talking about sex and lovemaking but our ancestors were not.
Today people don’t understand about sex they just feel to throw out their sexual frustration but this is not lovemaking.
Due to the patriarchal structure, people think that it’s the man whose need should be satisfied women should find ways to satisfy a man's need. Women should not be open about their sexuality.
This is not what our ancestors thought. We still see sexual sculptures on our temples. It means our ancestors were more open-minded than us. They felt it is a basic need for every species on earth that we cannot tell animals how they feel but in humans it’s different.
About Kama Sutra
Lovemaking is not all about how to satisfy a man but how two people come together and express their love. There was a book made in the third century which is widely known as Kama sutra written by Vatsayaya is the oldest and most notable of a group of texts on erotic love from ancient India known generically as the Kama Shastras.
The Kama Sutra goes deep into the art of making love and shows how it can be sophisticated and hugely enjoyable. It offers every permutation of every act of foreplay and lovemaking.
The book is widely read by people and well-acclaimed around the world. People who want to enjoy their amazing sex life often read this book. The book talks about what are the ways we can seduce a person.
According to the Kama Sutra, there are Sixty-four ways to seduce a person which includes traditional skills like singing, dancing, reciting poetry which is expected. There are some skills stitching, brain games, planting trees, etc which are not related to any kind of sexual activity are also mentioned in the Sixty four skills for the art of seduction.
Many of you find it weird how some skills above mentioned are related but the kama sutra explains it in detail too. During ancient times the book was read by both the genders because it’s not one person role in sexual intercourse both have to equally participate to satisfy their need.
It’s really a disappointment that Indians don’t recognize and feel proud about because if we go back in history this book was misinterpreted by the British and they never recommended this book. Even in China, they have their book of erotics and seduction.
What Kama sutra explains
According to the Kama, Sutra Lovemaking is an art that requires creativity. If we talk about ways of seduction according to Kamasutra Paan which helps in connecting between sex and food. Paan is a wrapped concoction made with the leaves of the betel plant, filled with tobacco, fruit, etc, and chewed.
In Kamasutra food should eat before having sex as it helps in energizing you. Every Paan carries a message. If you want to tell someone that you are desperately in love you give Kaushal Paan. If you want to hook up with someone just for a night you send Ankush Paan. If you are feverish and excited to see the person a Kandarp paan is sent.
This is an early stage and is often called foreplay. There are various types of kisses that are explained in the Kama Sutra.
Kisses on lips is not a foreign concept, it also originated in our country. It’s the foreigners who adopted the concept.
According to Kama Sutra Women’s sexual energy depends upon the waxing and waning of the moon. On one day it’s the hair that has to be massaged to increase the orgasm. One day the eyes should be kissed or lips should be kissed softly or cheeks should be kissed softly to increase sexual energy.
Conclusion
Lovemaking and seduction are just more than sex it’s just bonding of people and the ecstasy of coming together. It is something which should be widely appreciated and nothing to be embarrassed about.
