OneStepGreener is a social initiative that was founded in 2018 by Vihaan and Nav Agarwal. Our mission is to promote sustainable practices in waste management, recycling, and tree plantation in the National Capital Region of India.
We have grown significantly over the years, now serving homes, schools, and offices in over 52 colonies across Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, and Faridabad. We've also planted over 4,000 native trees, demonstrating our commitment to a greener future.
2. How did you come up with this idea and go about executing it?
The idea for OneStepGreener came from a desire to address the pressing environmental issues we face today. We recognized the need for effective waste management and the potential of recycling to reduce waste and conserve resources.
We started by educating people about responsible waste disposal and encouraging them to segregate waste at the source. We also offered pickup of dry waste and ensured its recycling through certified processes.

A successful entrepreneur needs to be passionate, resilient, and adaptable. They must be passionate about their work, as this drives them to overcome challenges and keep pushing forward.
Resilience is crucial for dealing with setbacks and failures, while adaptability allows them to respond effectively to changes and seize new opportunities.

Additionally, there are numerous grants and competitions for startups that you can apply for.
