Abhijeet Interview
"My first thought is always: Can this solve a real problem for people in India?"
Q. Before AI and Techverse, who was Abhijeet, and how did this journey begin?
My journey started back in school. I was always deeply interested in computers, technology, and how things worked. Wherever I studied, school or college, I naturally gravitated toward tech and often connected closely with my computer teachers.
In 2019, I started my first YouTube channel. Initially, it was all about remixing songs and videos. By 2021, I had around 7,000 subscribers, which wasn’t much. During the lockdown, since academics didn’t excite me as much, I decided to go all in on content creation. I improved my storytelling, understood the audience better, and within four months, the channel jumped to around 500–600K subscribers. Within a year, it crossed 1 million. Eventually, I sold that channel.
After that, I started another channel focused on 90s song edits, which reached 1 million subscribers in just 7–8 months and later crossed 2 million. Alongside this, I pursued a BCA degree and built a browser-based app that crossed 50–60K downloads in six months.
By my fourth semester, I became deeply fascinated with AI. After months of research, I started creating AI focused content in 2024. That’s when tech stopped being just a skill and became something people genuinely enjoyed watching and learning from.
Q. When you discover a new AI tool, what tells you it’s worth sharing?
My first thought is always: Can this solve a real problem for people in India?I focus on tools that can actually be used in daily life, whether it’s for college projects, no-code solutions, productivity, or upskilling.
Many creators stop at quick demos, but I go deeper. I create detailed PDFs from scratch and explain tools step by step so clearly that even a school student can understand them. For me, tech is only valuable when it’s accessible. If people can’t use it confidently, it’s not worth sharing.
Q. What’s the biggest fear you see around AI, and how do you try to remove it?
The biggest fear is replacement. People worry AI will take away jobs and make humans irrelevant. I always explain that AI doesn’t replace people; it enhances them. The real risk is not using AI while others do.Another major fear is complexity. Many people feel AI is too technical or overwhelming. That’s where I use humor and creativity. A dancing cat or a balloon person effect grabs attention, even from someone who isn’t interested in AI. Once they’re engaged, they realize the tool is actually simple. That moment when fear turns into curiosity is what I aim for every time.
Q. Do you see yourself more as a teacher, creator, or experimenter?
Honestly, I’m a blend of all three. I’m a teacher when I simplify concepts, a creator when I design engaging content, and an experimenter when I explore new tools and ideas. That mix defines how I show up online every day. I’m not just sharing information; I’m inviting people to play, try, and explore. That balance keeps my content fresh and my community excited to learn.
Q. The internet changes fast and trends don’t last long. In such a fast moving digital space, how do you stay grounded without chasing every trend?
Trends come and go, but real problems stay. Earlier, I used to follow trends blindly. Now, I integrate trends into AI in a meaningful way. For example, during festivals, when AI videos trend, I don’t just post one. I break down how people can create those videos themselves using AI.I constantly listen to what my audience values at the moment. Content performance may fluctuate, but my purpose stays the same: help people, make tech enjoyable, and keep it practical. If needed, I change my storytelling style, not my intent. That’s what keeps me grounded in such a fast-changing space.
