Q. As someone who closely observes society, what is a truth about people that you’ve learned but wish wasn’t true?

One truth I've observed is that people are often quick to judge someone's circumstances without understanding their story. Through content creation, I've realized that everyone is fighting battles we cannot see, yet empathy is frequently replaced by assumptions.

I wish we were more curious about people's experiences before forming opinions about them. A little understanding can go a long way in changing how we see one another.
Q. Do you think social media encourages authenticity, or does it quietly reward performance over honesty?

I think it does both.

Social media gives people a platform to share genuine experiences, but it also tends to reward content that is polished, dramatic, or highly curated. As creators, we're constantly balancing authenticity with the need to present content in a way that captures attention.

Personally, I try to use humor and relatable situations while ensuring the emotions and message remain real.

Q. If you could change one social norm through your content, what would it be?

I would challenge the idea that people should constantly live according to others' expectations.

Whether it's career choices, marriage, gender roles, or lifestyle decisions, many people spend their lives trying to fit into boxes created by society. Through my content, I want to encourage people to think independently and respect different life choices.

The more freedom people feel to be themselves, the more authentic and fulfilling their lives can become.

Q. What’s a societal issue that you believe people have become dangerously comfortable ignoring?

I believe we've become too comfortable ignoring the everyday struggles of ordinary people, particularly the emotional, financial, and social pressures they face.

Many of these issues never make headlines, yet they affect families and individuals every day. Sometimes the most significant problems are the ones we've normalized so deeply that we no longer question them.

That quiet acceptance can be more dangerous than the problem itself.

Q. Has there ever been a story or topic that affected you emotionally long after the camera stopped recording?

Absolutely.

Whenever I create content around family relationships, social pressures, or the silent sacrifices people make for their loved ones, those stories tend to stay with me. Even when presented through humor, many of these situations are rooted in real experiences that countless people navigate every day.

Knowing how deeply relatable these stories are often stays with me long after filming ends.

Q. Looking back, what has storytelling taught you about human nature that no classroom or book could have?

Storytelling has taught me that people connect far more through emotions than through facts.

No matter our backgrounds, most of us share similar hopes, fears, insecurities, and dreams. It's those emotional experiences that create genuine connection.

I've also learned that humor is one of the most effective ways to start conversations about difficult realities. It allows people to see themselves in a story without feeling judged, making complex or uncomfortable topics easier to engage with.

More than anything, storytelling has shown me that empathy often begins when people recognize a part of themselves in someone else's experience.
