1. Tell us more about your role and responsibilities.

I was the Class Representative of my class. I became a part of various college societies and led some of them too.

2. How challenging is it to maintain a balance between your responsibilities and academics?

It is not difficult to juggle between the leadership roles and the normal college life as long as you manage things timely and delegate tasks properly. Also, you should have supportive friends.

3. As a student leader, do you enjoy the influence you have on others?

I do enjoy the influencing power. But I remain careful of this power since it is more of a responsibility to influence people positively.

4. What is your career goal? How will your current role help in achieving the same?

I have been freelancing as a content writer for the last two years. I have worked with more than 10 organisations and published two books under my name.

5. Do you think parents’ support plays a role in deciding whether a student has an active extra-curricular life or not? What is your message to all the parents?

All I can tell parents is, "Please let your child come out of his comfort zone and try to explore the world that the college offers. The opportunities out there are meant to let youngsters make their mark in whatever they love to do. Besides, they would know a world beyond books which is great."

6. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Choose the right internship for you. Choose the internship that gives you the kind of work that you want to do. Sit through conferences and you are definitely going to take away something really beneficial for your career at the end of the day.
