1. How did your journey as a content creator begin?
It’s funny you ask that—most people think I started in 2020 when Paayal and I launched The Paayal Jain. But my journey actually began in 2018 with a YouTube channel called A Belle’s Palette, where I posted makeup tutorials and DIY videos. Back then, I was completely new to YouTube and didn’t know much, which is why I couldn’t continue with that channel.
Later, I found my footing in acting, appearing in almost every YouTuber’s videos during 2018–2019. Finally, in 2020, Paayal and I created our own channel focused on comedy and entertainment—and that’s when everything truly fell into place.
2. You and your sister work so closely together. How has that shaped your journey and content style?
Working with my sister has definitely strengthened our personal relationship as we’ve navigated both professional and personal challenges. The best part is that we genuinely want the best for each other—there’s absolutely no sense of competition.
Sometimes, our ideas are completely opposite, but we always find a way to listen to one another. Having different perspectives actually helps us create fresh and unique content every single time.
3. What inspires your content ideas and themes?
Since our genre is comedy and entertainment, relatability is everything. We draw inspiration from the people and situations around us—things we’ve personally experienced in our lives. Luckily, audiences love seeing the world from our point of view.
4. What’s been your favorite moment so far in this space?
There have been so many favorite moments, but having my own fan base stands out. Every time I step out and people come up to take pictures with me—it feels surreal.
I especially remember moments when fans got so emotional just meeting me and Paayal. Those heartfelt interactions are truly the sweetest experiences.
5. How do you stay authentic while being a public figure?
For me, this comes naturally. I know that being a public figure doesn’t mean I need to develop an ego. I’m just as human as anyone else, and that simple realization keeps me grounded.
6. What’s one tip you’d give to aspiring influencers?
I could share so many tips, but this one tops the list: learn to tune out the noise around you. Keep going and take consistent action—even if it feels like you’re shooting in the dark. Stay persistent, and eventually the path will become clear, revealing your goals.
7. Any exciting plans or collaborations coming up?
Ahh, there’s always something exciting happening in this field! Right now, I’m on my way to attend Hollywood’s first-ever Hindi-dubbed premiere of Jurassic World: Rebirth.
I hope my work continues to keep me excited and brings more opportunities like this.
