I belong to typical Marathi family from Mumbai. I started my career in 2017 in this industry. My 1st hotel where i was working was Four Seasons in Mumbai. My journey till her was very hardworking. There was many up and downs during my journey.

2. What led you to take up this career path?

I was passionate about cooking from my childhood i used to watch cooking shows. So i developed love for my cooking. Plus i like to eat a lot.

3.What does your typical day looks like?

The day in the kitchen is very stressful sometimes. But for me it is very much enjoyable time. I do lot of hard work to smile that happy smile on our customer's.

4. Does one's approach change when cooking professionally and at home?

Yes there is a change in professionally cooking and home. In professional cooking all the ingredients, taste the presentation should be perfect you cannot make a mistake in that and same in home when we cook that time if we skip one ingredient that is OK and we don't have that professional equipment at home.

5. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

Yes so when i started cooking for 1st time i made a Maharashtrian dish name pithla. So when i made that dish it was without salt and it was very much spicy that no one can eat it but my mom taste it and she was like very good it is so tasty and before serving to others she repaired it and served it.

6. Can cooking be learnt at culinary schools or a natural talent is required?

Cooking is learnt by heart if you have talent to cook by heart even if it is a simple dish you can make it very much tasty and in culinary school they teach you the technique of cook like no one is born with a talent the one must develop that passion in his heart that what's become a talent.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

My favorite cookbook is White heat it is a famous cookbook by British chef Marco white.

The book is very much inspirational to many Michelin star chefs and celebrity chefs for their careers in that book there are many photographs of him working in kitchen how stressful and enjoyable it is to work in the kitchen.
