With an experience of more than eight years in Yoga , I have been running Yoga sessions successfully for more than three years now.My focus has been on each individual ,assessing his body type ,ability and needs. The asan and routine are then customized accordingly. I give importance to prevention of diseases through Yoga providing for complete wellness.
Also I inspire the learners to adopt Yoga as a way of life ,which helps them cure their existing ailments. I have tried to incorporate Yoga therapy, covering a broad range of therapeutic modalities, incorporating elements from both physical therapy and psychotherapy into my sessions.
Meditation and breathing has been added in all my classes. I have completed my Masters in Yoga and YCB certified from Ministry of Ayush. One piece of advice I would like to give is that it is not tough to lose weight but it has to be done in a simple and healthy way.Our focus should be to lose weight and not lose health.
7. How do diets and exercise contribute to overall well being and happiness?
Yogic diet is one that leads to clarity of mind and physical health. It is plant-based, light and eco-friendly. It includes fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, nuts and grains. It is believed that mind and food are related to each other, so the type of food you consume have an immediate effect on the mind.
Along with the diet following a routine of Yoga asan has positive
chemical effect on your brain reducing stress and improving mood, as well
as resulting in lasting positive benefits for the brain and body. In Yoga we give equal importance to both exercise and diet.
