1. Tell us more about
your background and journey.
I hail from a big joint
family, where I am the tiny tot being the last kid. I always ventured into my
own interests and hobbies. Graduating as a Mechanical Engineer, I pursued
Management Studies.
Aside from that, I love
reading books, writing new blogs, poems looking upon everything I look to
understand. I am quite interested in reading newspapers and knowing current
affairs and general knowledge.
I am also passionate
about watching and commenting about sports, particularly cricket and tennis. I
started to realize that I have a vivid memory and decent vocabulary to write
upon and explore new horizons.
2. When did you
decide you wanted to be a writer?
Being an avid reader of
books and novels alike, I realized that I wanted to express my thoughts and
ideas to people around. I used to write short stories in primary class and also
have written in ‘The Young World’.
Later, I stopped writing
and started reading more, learning more and relating realities with
imaginations. Initially, I was hesitant to deliver blogs and content writing
because I was not confident of my writings.
As I explored across
various blogs in social media, I imbibed the belief and courage to showcase my
works to the outside world.
3. Is it a
financially stable career?
Considering this job as
a part-time, I don’t consider it to be financially sound. Moreover, this work
doesn’t provide recognition and satisfaction to us until we distinguish
ourselves and carve our own identity.
4. Who is your
favorite writer and why?
My favorite writer is J.K.Rowling. I grew up watching and reading her works. She made us believe that no imagination can go wrong as long as we are sure of what we are doing. Stricken against all odds, she proved that we can always transform our dreams into realities as long as we keep dreaming and visualize them.
5. Where does your
inspiration lie?
Frankly speaking, I
don’t have anywhere to find inspiration. The inspiration to work and excel in
our respective fields has to come within us. No one or anything in the world
can motivate us to become better humans than ourselves.
6. What does your
typical day look like?
As far as work is concerned,
every day is a good day as long as we are in control of it with a proper
work-life-balance. Each day should make us to turn into a new leaf, budding out
to become optimistic, confident and motivated individuals.
7. What piece of
advice would you like to give to future aspiring writers?
People aspiring to write
must always be open and confident to experiment with their own ideas and
thoughts, even though some part of their mind maybe hesitant.
Young writers must also
be intuitive and trust their gut feelings. The world around us is never short
of thought processes, attitudes and perceptions that keep changing time to
time. Writers must learn to be adaptable towards ideas that may become
obsolescent in future.
“IT IS OUR CHOICES
THAT SHOW US WHAT WE TRULY ARE FAR MORE THAN OUR ABILITIES”
8. Which is your
favorite book and why?
I generally look for
books that lead me into an imaginative world and run through mind. During
school days, I used to read Enid Blyton books, which made me venture into my
own adventures likewise.
Later, I started reading
books that drove me into a different perspective which critiqued my level of
knowledge and thoughts. My favorite book is “A Brief History of Time” by
Stephen Hawking.
