1.Tell us about your background and journey.

Hi, my name is Monira. I am a Psychologist. I hold a bachelors degree in Psychology and a diploma degree of the Clinic.

2. What led you to take up this career path?

I already dreamed to be in the medical profession since I was a child. But slowly I started to realize that I have a special inclination towards the field of Psychology and human behavior in general. So I chose to specialize in this field.

3. What are some common myths in the society about psychology?

One common myth that I hear every now and then is ( and its a really funny one) that "a person who studies psychology or works in this field is a crazy person".

But as you also know it's just a myth and the truth is totally opposite. We are actually quite sane people.

4. How can people practice mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the art of being aware about one's self and what's going within themselves. Also it involves being active in the present while still caring about others feelings and their state of being.

So, what I really suggest to everyone out there wanting to practice mindfulness is that you can understand yourselves by setting a goal and knowing what you want. Thus achieving the state of mindfulness.

5. What are your tips for people who want to practice this profession?

If he finds himself practicing it professionally and develops himself through reading and training in reality, this profession can give the human being a sense of inner peace and satisfaction.

So, what I want to imply here is that you should chose this profession only and only if its your passion, otherwise you'll end up nowhere. Also, if you're seriously getting into this profession then never take it as a burden, else you'll be walking

6. Is work-life balance a myth or reality according to you?

According to me work-life balance is not at all a myth, its totally becoming a reality more and more nowadays. A fact that man can balance in all his matters by thinking, arranging and organizing.

7. How according to you can one manage stress?

Can overcome the pressures by relaxing and trying to solve his problems and make useful and fun activities that help him and make him happy.
