1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am Mukul Kumar Jana, and I like to go by the nickname MKJ. I am a passionate creator and an empathetic humanitarian. I like to explore and express creatively. I believe that hard work paves a permanent path for us.

I never thought of coming to this field, but I just went with the flow. Gradually, I started loving this field and, changed my passion into profession. I had a keen interest in using a camera since childhood. And, that has worked out finally.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

I started my journey as a photographer. Initially, I created my page so that I could share tips and tricks of photography with similar enthusiasts. Later on, I joined the bandwagon of content creators. I create sketch videos, music covers, and celebration showreels.

3. How and when did you realize your passion for creating films?

In high school, when we all friends used to discuss our future plans, I told them that I wanted to make films. That's when I realized my passion, and now I see my dream coming to be true.

4. What are the important skills one should have to be a successful cinematographer?

You may have often heard people talking about how important is the technical knowledge of cameras, but one also needs to have an eye for detail. There's a lot to learn always. You may spend many decades as a cinematographer and, still have something new to learn.

5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?

Transparency and integrity play an important role in influencing consumer behavior. If you are true to what you feel, share it over social media. That's how you create an original voice amidst your audience. Your originality and honesty work well enough to convince the consumers.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

I believe true success is in the sense of satisfaction from what you do. I agree that the financial benefits do matter. But, until and unless you are happy with what you do, you won't be able to grow. So, "Stop when you are done, not when you feel tired" remains the mantra of my life.

7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

I believe it is only going to work for you if you pick a certain topic that you find interesting. As you will always have to keep up with the latest trends on that particular topic.

Basically, Share the knowledge you have, Engage with your audience, Build relations and the rest will fall into the place.
