1. Tell us more about your roles and responsibilities at your college?

I was secretary and vice head of planning and operations department in my second and third year respectively of Ka-Ch!ng , the commerce society of Ram Lal Anand College . I was assigned the responsibility of looking for eminent speakers for the events. And in my third year ,I was in the planning and execution team.


2. What are the top skills that you have learnt with what you do?

Three years of college taught me a plethora of  skills like team coordination , leadership skills . Along with this, it imbibed in me confidence and courage to face the real world.



3. How did you rise up to your position and how can the student aspiring the same, approach it?

I did all the work and responsibilities whole heartedly and gave up my 100% . So my suggestion would to always give your 100 % in whatever you do be it the minor of things.


4. What are the career goals and how is what you are doing going to help you with that?

 I want to have doctorate in accounts . All the qualities are surely going to help me in the long run.


5. What's it like to juggle between a leadership role and normal college life?

 College gives you  a lot of opportunities to develop leadership qualities. So In my opinion please don’t consider to be mediocre and choose a normal college life. Make the most of it.


6. How  can we encourage more young students such as yourself to take up leadership roles?

  Its very crucial to have leadership qualities in today ‘s time. So today ‘s generation should never miss a chance to hone such skills and they should be always ready to step out of their comfort zone 



7. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Apart from the bookish knowledge, one should always have practical exposure . We are blessed as we have so many platforms like LinkedIn, Internshaala where we can find internships. Internships help us gain extra from a student who is just studying in his college. 


So my message would be never miss out a chance to let go an opportunity. Don’t hesitate to take up new roles, opportunities. Its okay if you score less because marks don’t always  matter.  No one is going to check your mugging skills
