1. Tell us more about your role & responsibilities at your college.


I was the treasurer of Comhub, commerce society of Dyal Singh evening college. My responsibilities were to handle all the funds and maintain financial records. As a treasurer, I played an essential role in conducting Comfiesta, annual commerce fest of DSEC.

My role was to collect all the bills and sponsorship amount and being accountable to teacher-in-charge. Besides this,  I was also the treasurer of the Academic Planning  Committee of the same.


2. How did you rise up to your position, and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

Since ever, I was efficient in handling financial transactions, and I grew to learn more as I became a part of it. I am proud that I got this opportunity so, I would encourage the students who aspire to handle the responsibility.

All the willing students must come forward and volunteer themselves, as this is an excellent opportunity to brush up your management skills.


3. What's it like to juggle between a leadership role and normal college life?

Since ever, I was efficient in handling financial transactions, and I grew to learn more as I became a part of it. I am proud that I got this opportunity so, I would encourage the students who aspire to handle the responsibility.

4. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learnings from what you do?

My biggest challenge was to collect all the bills of the expenditure being incurred in executing the events and fest. I maintained the records from time to time, and it was very useful for me to overcome this challenge.
I became more social and interactive as I grew to learn to be a part of this society.


5. Do you enjoy the kind of influence you hold at such a young age?

Yes, I do enjoy the kind of influence as I feel immense pleasure to share the experience that I gained at such a young age. 
If my experience influences even a single student, it will be my honour.


6. How do your parent's look at you participating in extracurricular activities?

My parents were pleased when I took the initiative to participate in Extracurricular Activities. They always supported and encouraged me to go ahead with such things. 
Parents play a significant role in motivating their children to actively take part in Extracurricular Activities.
