1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Okay so Hello y'all. My name is Eshita Banerjee. I am 24 year old advocate who got into this community or world of blogging or influencing 3 years ago. My page instagram.com/thatsavageblogger started out as a micro food blog where initially I shared only my creatively taken photos of food

Then gradually I started to showcase flatlays and product photography and finally in this year I completely changed my profile to a beauty and lifestyle page just to showcase my love for makeup.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

I joined Instagram after one year when Instagram actually launched in India. I owned my first and proper full fledged smartphone when I got into college and then it was time for me to be social.

Initially I saw people putting up food pictures on their wall and just out of curiosity I asked one fellow influencer how does one get to click so many pictures and upload on their social media? She then informed me about blogger's table and how restuarants hosts blogger's at their place and get's them to review there place and thus my page began as a food page.

I started my food page in 2017 and the only equipment that I had was mh newly bought Redmi Note 4 and it has got me to so many places you can't even imagine. My whole idea was behind my page to show how to excel at mobile photography.

After a certain period I thought maybe it was time to give my passion for food a rest and now I should explore my other passion and that is Beauty and Makeup. So all anyone can see now on my profile are makeup videos and posts.

3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

I don't think these two terms are any different at all because they are human beings first and all of us are capable to influence every other person by various means. Incase of people who are bloggers and influencers their medium is social or electronic media through which they can be able to influence larger amount of people in smaller time. So I really wouldn't distinguish these two term because they are the two different sides of the same coin.

4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

The ratio or percentage of being financially sustainable in this current scenario will be 1:1 or 50-50% according to me.

This is because the influencer community is a vast one where one portion of the community is earning hefty amount and the other portion is earning but very little.

Unless you the effective resources, contacts, connection and most importantly if your content isn't top notch, brands won't find it feasible to work with such an influencer. While the community may be divided into two portions, atleast all of us are waiting for our payments to be completed in time that's for sure.

5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?

I am a consumer before I am an influencer so given my consumer mindset I definitely think variety, transparency with your consumers and honesty influences much of the consumer behaviour.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

Do you what you feel like doing. Be consistent in the present. The right time is now so do what you have to right now and live in the present.

7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

One can only become successful on social media if their followers like their content. That's it. Simple and straight cut opinion because it is our genuine count of followers which can make or break you especially if you can overcome all the dirty politics in this community then you can achieve anything.

8. Which is your favorite book and why?

I am sorry am not much of a reader but if I were you I would have asked myself which is my all time favourite TV shows and I would have answered F.R.I.E.N.D.S
