1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am a delhite (typical delhi ka punjabi munda ) who loves to try and explore new food places , done my grauduation from delhi university ( banna to chef tha but ban nhi paye ) , started my job , I never thought that I will be a content creator someday , I have love for food but never thought I will become a food blogger someday but the journey will take me here so I decided to start my food channel and named it as “mrrampalfoodjourney”.

Why I named it as mrrampalfoodjourney as rampal is my last name and food journey is for my food journey which I am showing on my page I started making my content good day by day, started attending bloggers meet , where I meet many new people which helped me a lot in my journey till now , I also started my youtube channel and got a very good response on that too.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

As I told you I’m a food lover and love to try new places before starting all this instagram thing and all I used to post food pictures on my personal instagram handle , but one day someone dm me regarding an invite she asked me that whether I am intrested to review a place.

For a moment I think as it was first time someone asked me to do this there were many questions in my mind as there are many new people there , how will I do this, but I place all these things aside and decided to go I visited the place tried their food and putted my genuine food review on various platforms, so by times I started going on blogger meets to explore new places , meet new people.

This helped me a lot to take my intrest to a professional level , I learned a lot of things about how to post on instagram what type of content people like what are the things I am lacking. My content also becomes better by time started my instagram page and started putting content on it.

3. Is vlogging and Instagram content creation a financially sustainable career?

Yes according to me Instagram content and vlogging specially on youtube is a financially sustainable career as I have seen many people even some of my friends from where they have started and now how far they have gone and done a great job.

People are earning a handsome amount whether it is from Instagram collaborations from brand or by doing vlogging on a youtube channel . On Instagram, there’s a mediator ( pr agency ) between you and the brand , but if you use youtube for your vlogging there is no such mediator its all depend on your content and the time you are giving to makr your content it's like the more seriously you work for your channel the more monetary benefits you will get.

4. Who is your favorite creator and why?

Since you can see so many content creator in the market but there are few who are genuinely making good content and my personal favorite is “travelling desi” who makes travel video on youtube and the best about his channel is in every single video you can see a new concept which actually induldge the mind of viewers .

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

Earlier I used to follow some fellow content creators just to find out new eating places and then try out those places.

Then one day I just realized since I am a big time foodie why don’t I start my own food channel and become a food critic so I started food page and tried out new places which are sort of a hidden gem and started sharing pictures on my instagram account and unfortunately or fortunately you can say people started liking my and believe on the first week of content creating I got 100 likes on my single photo and this motivated me to become active instagrammer.

6. What does your typical day look like?

My typical day looks like my 8 to 5 job and after that hanging out with my friends on our favourite food joints nothing more than that.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I am not a book lover so i cant answer this.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

The advice I want to give to all the future and aspiring creators is that stability and hardwork is most important if you seriously want to become a content creator you have to explore places , you have to give your time properly to generate good content it's not like you can post anything in the name of content.

This is what I realise that quality of content is also important the people will love to watch only quality content and specially for all those wants to start a youtube channel whether it’s a vlogging channel or any kind of channel my advice is stay stable try to post more and more videos on a daily basis.

If you want to engage more audience on your channel it’s not like you can post 1 video in a week the stability is the most imp thing if you want to start a youtube channel forget about the monetisation for atleast 5-6 months and just focus on your content.
