1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Hi, I'm Rakshith Shetty, basically, I'm from Silicon city of India, that's Bengaluru. I completed my Graduation in the year of 2017, @ KLE college Bengaluru, and I started my career as a freelance photographer and continued and I started knowing new things about photography and camera day by day through YouTube channels and some of my Photographer buddies, they helped me allot through and day by day I started getting clients, started working in it, got contacts of top models, started shooting 'em got an opportunity to work in sandalwood movies too. 


2. How and when did you realize your passion for photography?

I was thinking myself to figure out some nice Frames, seeing social media stuff day by day... I started working on it and it made me soo happy at the end of the day, then I realised what makes me happy, that I've to do more so that I'll be happier. Started roaming around wearing my camera on my neck clicking pics everywhere, got soo many memories unforgettable, it became passionate. Practice for perfection!


3. What are some tips you would like to share with amateur photographers?

Capture the images, what you see through your eyes, which makes you feel the happy moment. Lighting is the more important thing in photography, try clicking images through all the modes so that you get an idea about how to deal with different modes, have patience, keep trying.


4. What are the important skills one should have to be a successful photographer?

They should be a creative mind as well one should have more patience, well know about the camera settings, should know more about lighting.


5. What are various opportunities available for aspiring photographers?

Many people reach for photography because you can make it your own. However, before you can start, you need a camera and you need to experiment with different styles of photography, such as landscape or fashion photography. Whatever camera and photography style you choose, there are lot many photography things u can deal with. 

You can do Nature photography, abstract photography, Candid photography, Fashion photography, landscape photography, portrait photography, black and white photography, bold photography, Advertising photography, astrophotography, business photography and many more...


6. Which is your favourite book and why?

Honestly speaking I've never read any of the photography books.
