But Telugu is my home language the language of my emotions, my childhood, the way I joke, argue, and express love

Q. You’ve built a loyal audience with nothing but your personality, humour, and raw authenticity. When did you first realise that your everyday life and your way of expressing it could become content people genuinely connect to?

Honestly,  I didn’t realise it at all. I began making videos in my 3rd year just to save my memories. Before that, life had its phases of chaos, student pressure, friendship ups and downs, figuring out who I was. And then somewhere in that mess, I understood something very important: Life is meant to be celebrated, not survived.

So I started capturing little joyful moments, especially the ones at home. My family is my safest, happiest space. Slowly, people began saying, “This feels like my home,” and I realised, the way I naturally live, talk, and feel things, that itself connected with people. Nothing was forced. It was just me choosing happiness, and people felt comfort in that.

Q. You create in your native language with so much ease and confidence. What does speaking in your mother tongue allow you to show about yourself that other languages simply can’t capture?

I genuinely love languages thanks to my Bangalore life; I had friends from everywhere. But Telugu is my home language the language of my emotions, my childhood, the way I joke, argue, and express love. Other languages help me connect, but Telugu helps me be fully, effortlessly ME, playful, raw, emotional, expressive.

That warmth naturally shows in my skincare and routine videos too. Because the way I speak, advise, explain it feels like a sister talking, not a creator teaching. And that’s what I want people to feel: home, comfort, and care.

Q. Your videos often feel like small scenes from real life—funny, dramatic, relatable. How much of that comes naturally, and how much is consciously crafted for storytelling?

Most of it is natural because this is exactly how I am expressive, dramatic, and always telling stories about even tiny moments to my people. But once something happens, my creative brain wakes up like, “Aaa this will look cute if I shoot it like this!”

So, my content is real life, with a little creative sparkle which feels people comforting.

Q. Being a regional creator in a social-media world that often pushes ‘polished’ content must come with its own challenges. What’s the biggest stereotype or barrier you’ve had to break?

That regional creators can only reach their own language audience. My experience has been the complete opposite.

I get love from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka so many states and sometimes NRI’s living in US, UK, Dubai. The best part is they sends me these huge messages saying I inspire them a lot by being modest, happy and simple living which truly connects their home.

My DMs have kids mimicking my dialogues, teens watching my vlogs before sleep, and moms who watch because they adore my mom.  It melts my heart every time. I realised it’s not language that connects people, Its honesty, emotions, and warmth.

Q. You have a very distinct screen presence—playful, expressive, and instantly engaging. What part of your off-camera self-shapes that on-camera energy the most?

My family and my passion completely. They are my entire foundation. If my dad is my backbone, my mom is my strength. Since childhood my dad always pushed me into learning everything swimming, chess, badminton, karate, classical dance which made me naturally active and curious.

And my mom, she encouraged every creative streak in me long before anyone else noticed it. Even my skincare love started at home I was always “that girl” telling my mom, dad, and friends, “Use this cleanser,” “This will suit your skin,” and educating them about what works and why.

I love experimenting and learning, and it became a passion even before it became content. Their love, trust, and support built my passion to 'LIFE' and that’s exactly what people see on screen.

Q. With growing popularity comes pressure: consistency, expectations, and scrutiny. What’s the hardest part about staying true to yourself while still trying to evolve as a creator?

Balancing growth with authenticity. I’ve seen confusion, chaos, stress and expectations and through all of that I learnt one big truth: Happiness is in being yourself and staying close to the people who feel like home.

So even as I explore skincare, lifestyle, creativity, or new forms of content, I never want to lose the homely, peaceful, comforting vibe my videos give. Luckily, my audience loves my skincare and haircare advice as much as I love sharing it it’s something I’ve been passionate about since long before social media. I was always that girl who advised my family and friends about what products would work for them and why, and I loved educating them on it.

And beyond just skincare or fun family moments, I always wanted my page to feel like a safe, happy, sensible space a corner of the internet where people can actually relax, feel good, and enjoy their time. In a generation so focused on aesthetics, I wanted to be that girl-next-door kind of creator who feels real, warm, and reachable.

For all my girlies (and even the boys), I genuinely wanted to create a sister-like space where they trust me, listen to me, and feel guided in a simple, relatable way, not an intimidating one. I wanted my content to feel like a happy conversation, not a performance.

And I’m truly grateful that today, my audience sees me exactly that way not as someone distant, but as their own comforting girl next door.

Q. If someone scrolling through your feed could take away just one message about confidence or self-expression, what would you want it to be?

Don’t shrink your personality. Your quirks, your softness, your extra-ness, your drama  all of that is your strength. The moment you stop trying to blend in, you automatically shine.

Q. And lastly, if your personality had an outfit-of-the-day, what would it look like, and what would you name the look?

A bright kurthi, baggy jeans, open hair, a bindi, and cute jhumkas — colourful, comfortable, full of character.

I’d name it: “The Girl Next Door Energy.”
