1. Tell us more about your role and responsibilities at your college?

Responsibility of a student isn’t one only when they hold a position in the college politics it comes from the time they enter their first class. College is like the step before career and therefore holds utmost importance. It shapes your future this is the time when you can grow and explore. As a student biggest responsibility is to grow to follow your passion and at the same time secure a future. Whether academically or other fields ones future is in their own hands. And by the time you attend college you become accountable for it therefore taking your future seriously becomes the most important and difficult responsibility keeping all those more appealing distraction in mind.

2. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

I have a youtube channel dedicated to dance. Dance being my passion and this lockdown period giving me apt amount of time to pursue it made me create it “Nakhrali Ada”. Though previously conscious about response it gets it worked out quite smoothly. Biggest step is to start something once you start it becomes clearer how to progress. Opening this channel not only made me confident it also became a medium for me to keep engaged in this stressful times. It taught me time management as well as the need to be ordered and keeping order in things and made me realize that each video required a lot of planning though it seemed simple in thinking.

 3. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

Biggest challenge is to think something new and complete the task in a given time. Giving time to other activities to being regular to it. Not all videos will get the same response still keeping up the spirit while uploading the next video. This experienced taught me a lot too. Managing the pressure of having a deadline. To short down lists of songs to which would be more apt. Appearing in front of camera and handing the requirements. Trying to excel in something that you had no clue to and still working diligently for it.

4. What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

Taking the big step of making the channel really made me proud. Uploading videos is easier compared to taking the first step on clicking on the create channel button. With it came a responsibility a hope which had to be maintained. Uploading the first video and seeing it out there also gave quite a satisfaction. Completing the editing and viewing it till not bored was a happiness of other kind. It gave a feel of accomplishing something in life...though it was just a small step.

1.      5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Internships provide a perspective wider than what you already have. They give you an opportunity to go and see a world which you believe to enter once out of college .It gives an environment and knowledge. Attending seminars makes you more aware about a topic and gives your mind food for thought.
