1. Tell us more about your role and responsibilities at your college.

Being an undergraduate, I am unlike the other strength of my college. At the end of the first year, I started my first official start-up for the students globally. It has been providing support to many students. Also, I never preferred to be a part of clubs and societies. However, I was appointed as Discipline in-charge of my institute, SRMIST in the second year of my college life. The situations kept becoming favorable. I received both support and hatred from the students around but was appreciated by Vice-Chancellor at the same time too. I have been recognized as a successful entrepreneur of SRMIST. I always try to motivate the students who are willing to do something in their career.

2. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student be aspiring the same, approach it?

Everyone around believes in Hard Work but I personally feel that if you are working smartly in any field, you will achieve something big for sure. Everybody is born with some special abilities; Students must not copy others. Rather, they can spend their time in the thinking process and come up with something of their own. Also, Students nowadays don’t convert their ideas into action because they are spending too much time in games, movies, etc. I am not a gamer; I am not a movie lover. Definitely, I enjoy both of them but, on the other hand, I prefer to utilize my time into something that can help me in the future. If anyone is following these things, nothing can stop them.

3. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learnings from what you do?

The biggest challenge of mine is academics for sure. I am into entrepreneurship from the 11th class. I wanted to develop an operating system & I started it without thinking of anything, however on the midway, I realized, I went too far from the academics and my preparations for JEE obviously. It was a disaster for me. Hence, that was surely the biggest learning for me, I have maintained the academics during my bachelor's. The other things were Team Management, during my first unofficial start-up, Team building became an issue. My outcomes were to never build a team with friends and classmates. Also, one should be more focussed on Team Quality instead of Team Quantity, these things will definitely make an organization bigger.

4. What did you do in your current role that makes you feel really proud of yourself?

Currently, I am publicly recognized as Chief Executive Officer and Founder at IVentors Initiatives, we are helping students across the globe in learning most demanded skills, courses, achieving great internships, jobs, etc. So, when you are leading a firm with more than 60+ teammates. It’s your responsibility to make them feel proud and to be honest, if my team is proud of themselves for the work they do, then only, I can feel proud of myself. Hence, nothing is kept in the role if you are not a good leader. Everybody must learn leadership traits; this will definitely help them a lot!

5. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

Internships are important, but make sure you are in the right place because many companies nowadays are getting the talent from the interns and giving nothing to them. Giving you an example, We at IVentors, pay every intern once they achieve milestones. So, before working for any firm, knowing about them is a must. Although, One must complete as many internships as he can. It will definitely give them much needed boost. For Conferences, It depends. If you think that the leader hosting the conference is capable enough to teach you some important traits, you must attend or even if it’s a group discussion, go and participate but, don’t waste your time attending all conferences. You can utilize some time for yourself. Students must focus on Creating Jobs rather than doing one. Our country is going to suffer from the worst-ever recession in the post-COVID era. So, Use your skills and Rock it. You can achieve whatever you wish, Just convert your plans to actions and you are ready to take off!
