1. Tell us more about your role and responsibilities at your college?

I'm the class representative of my class and by that means I've great responsibilities. My responsibilities starts with act as a prime official channel of communication between teacher and rest of the class, for all monitoring formalities. My role is to unite our batch and take a decision that benefits everyone.

2. What's it like to juggle between a leadership role and normal college life?

Juggling between a leadership role and normal college life was a challenging task but with the proper guidance. I learnt to manage things and It's upon the person's perspective how they takes up the responsibilities

3.How do your parent's look at you participating in extracurricular activities?

My parents were the ones who encouraged me to take part in extracurricular activities as well because I was too afraid to manage things. My parents are very supportive of me and the things I persue.

4. Do you have a message for parents to allow their kids to do things besides academics?

No one is born with great organizational skills - they have to be learned and practiced. All the parents out there, please let your kids do whatever they want to, let them explore all that they want to because at last it’s always going to be personality and experiences over their mark sheet.

5. How did you rise up to your position and how can a student aspiring the same, approach it?

Being a class representative all I needed was votes in my favor which I got. To stand out for this position you should better at handling various problems and challenges. If someone is aspiring to grow in a leadership role, one must not hesitate to take on responsibility.

6. What have been some of your biggest challenges and learning from what you do?

The biggest challenge was uniting the class about a single decision. A class of 45 students every one has different views on different problems , it was really hectic to listen up everyone's views and by keeping that in mind I've to made a decision. But after some efforts it usually ends in a good way ant makes me happy.

7. What's your message to encourage students to do internships and attend conferences?

By attending internships and conferences helps you learn a lot ,they provide the most enriching experience of one’s college life, also significantly shape to one’s personality and thought processes. By internships a student learn to deal with real industrial situation. Internships definitely orient students for their future job.

On the other hand, conferences provide a platform to listen to great minds from all fields of life and to interact with them. It not only helps students foster noble ideas but also enables them to put forward their opinions in a place where they are appreciated.
