1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I started my journey on instagram more than 2 years ago. I started  out  having a food page. My love for food wanted me to put out the picturesls of the food I used to try out from different restaurants and cafes. So, food was my niche.
I was always into fashion , but could never invest myself fully into it due to my academics. Gradually I wanted to give it a try...

It was then that I noticed many contemporary influencers had kept "lifestyle" as a niche. That included everything like fashion , food and one's personal way of life.

So I joined the bandwagon too. Now I've shifted my niche from food to lifestyle.
Creating content gives me peace of mind. I am also pursuing Law at the moment and try my  best to juggle these two spheres of my life.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

Like I said, it was my love for food that made me open an instagram account. I wanted to cater to people pictures of delicious food along with the information of any cafe or restaurant. I really loved doing it and making them drool at the pictures was my goal.

3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

Bloggers and influencers are two totally different professionals. Bloggers have their own blog or website where they write about a particular topic within their niche. Their content is mostly focused on writing.

On the other hand, influencers start out on instagram , giving their opinions in the form of pictures and videos.

4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

The established influencers are financially stable and are doing well.
But influencers who are just starting out find it a bit difficult to manage their expenses if they consider influencing as their sole profession.

5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?

Every consumer is different and have their own preferences. Their background, the current trends, ones personal way of life and a lot of other factor plays a role in this. Instagram is a wide platform and caters to the needs of different kind of consumers.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

The only mantra  that I follow is hard work and karma. I try to live life as it comes.

7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

Nowadays every one is opening an account and writing influencer in their bio along with buying followers

But people like us who's been on this platform for quite sometime can easily distinguish between the real and fake followers. So I suggest not to do that.
In my opinion, content is king... One should always focus on that. If that page catches the right attention, then there's no looking back.

8. Which is your favorite book and why?

Honestly I don't have a favourite book as such... But a few of my favourite authors are Dan Brown , Jhumpa Lahiri , Amitav Ghosh and Khaled Hosseini
