1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Hey! So the journey starts from me being a Literature student for five years, i.e. Graduation + Masters. Soon after finishing the courses, I had a knack to write articles and that was something I wanted to explore as a career option. I ventured into copy editing when I did a Public Relations and Marketing diploma course and their I was introduced to the idea of Blogging. So, it’s been almost 6 years I have been blogging.

2. What led you to start your page on Instagram and what is it about?

Initially it was all about blog, writing articles on blog related to fashion styles, beauty and tech reviews. Later, focus came to sharing those blogs on social media channels. After that it was an endless run to grow your Instagram Page.
My Multifaceted Diary is all about Lifestyle, Travel, Fashion and Beauty updates.

3. How would you distinguish the term blogger from an influencer?

Like I mentioned above, Blogger is someone who own a blog and writes and Influencer is the one who influences the audience either through article reviews or social media shots. Majorly it’s the latter one.

4. Is it financially sustainable to be an influencer today?

I believe be it any day, just being an influencer is not sustainable if you don’t have any other financial aid. As, even your minimum income is not stable rather it fluctuates depending on various criteria’s from festival season, to your profile credibility, to your contacts and many other things.

5. What do you think influences consumer behavior?

Credibility and relatability of the influencer they are following. If you can’t relate to X’s dressing sense, no matter what she promotes, you won’t buy that because that’s not who you are. On the other hand, if you relate to that person’s ideology you would definitely give a second thought on what she promotes.

6. What is your idea of success or your mantra in life?

Create good quality content. Believe in yourself and one day all your dreams will come true.

7. How can someone become a successful social media influencer?

By being consistent and creating unique content. There will be downfalls that are too many but you need to be strong enough to climb above them. Like I said before, there is no financial stability in this so if you are solely dependent on this career option, it can hit hard.

8. Which is your favorite book and why?

It’s "THE SECRET" by Rhonda Byrne, honestly don’t ask why, just go and read it and you will get all your answers but if you really want to know why, well, it tells you all about the idea of living, the law of attraction and way on how can you strongly believe in yourself. It’s one of my favorites.
