1.Tell us more about your background and journey.

I was born and brought up in Jalandhar city, Punjab. Dance has been my passion since childhood and I started from competitive school and college performances my inspiration behind Michael Jackson that made me a professional choreographer and dance educator.

2. When did you first decide you wanted to pursue dancing and how did you start?

The more I got the opportunity to create the more I fell in love with dance.My family members and friends encouraged me to pursue dance choreography as my career . Then I was asked to teach some dance classes at a local studio along with teaching. I also uploaded my first video on you tube that got viral with 50K likes.

3.Who is your favourite dancer and why?

Michael Jackson is my hero and a great inspiration and a perfect role model. His commitment to improvement , creativity and originality was what I learnt . His twirls and moonwalk made him a legend.

4. Can you throw some light on opportunities one gets as a dancer?

A career in dance is rewarding to the brave. Once said “Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion. There are many opportunities to pursue a successful career in  dance like Choreography for TV and movies, dance studio, Fitness trainer , Visual Artist , and wedding choreography.

5. Is format training required or can one train themselves purely on the basis of talent?

It entirely depends on yourself and your passion towards dance. Education is also important and knowing the fundamentals of other dance styles is very helpful . The more you know the better you get. I recommend taking classes from as many choreographers and teachers and dance is constantly changing so more you learn  the better you get.

6.What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring artists?

If you want to pursue a career in dance it requires dedication , practice ,  patience,and most important being at the right place at the right time.Never stop learning and never give up on what you really want to do.
