1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I am a content creator by Profession. I like to document my travel journeys and upload it on my YouTube channel Voguemusafir. I have a hons. in Psychology from University of Delhi and currently studying Masters in Travel and Tourism Management.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

I decided to create online content when I first started travelling after quitting my job. While I was traveling, I was also recording videos and clicking photos. While I was making memories for myself I even wanted to help others. So that’s how my YouTube Channel Voguemusafir came into existence.

3. Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?

As we all know that success doesn’t come overnight. It could take some time for a person to start making money out of this and to sustain themselves completely. One has to be consistent, patient and remember why you started doing this in the first place.

4. Who is your favourite creator and why?

It has to be Ronnie and Barty without a doubt. Their daily life in the mountains is well depicted through their captivating visuals, direction and concept of their videos. I love the beautiful cinematography of their videos and how close they are to nature.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

My inspiration behind my content is the curiosity and the travel bug in me which wants to experience different things in life.

6. What does your typical day look like?

The typical day is mostly spent at home doing daily chores, cooking, working out, long distance cycle ride, making videos from home, reading, binge watching fav shows during corona times and studying.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master: A Yogi's Autobiography. The book revolves around the spiritual Path of Sri M. and how he travels across India in search of spiritual learnings. I aspire to travel every nook of India, just like him and have beautiful experiences.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

Those who want to have a career in something like content creation, I’d want them to follow their dreams and be consistent, but also to make sure that they have a plan B to fall back to or even have multiple strategies to earn income, I say it because this style of work is neither your regular 9-5 job nor does it gives a monthly paycheque.
