1. Tell us about your background and journey.

So, firstly, We would like to thank EatMyNews for giving us this opportunity. We are a team of 2; Parth & Prerna. We both are Engineers, recent graduates. We started FeistyandTasty in January 2019.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

Before starting F&T also, we were big time foodies. Like, we used right down reviews (on zomato) for all the cafes that we visited. We loved exploring different cuisines, different street foods etc and Parth is a photographer too so he used to click whatever we used to eat it.

Though him clicking every time before eating, seemed annoying at first, but who thought that it'll be a forever thing. From there we thought of showcasing the food we eat, out to people. Hence, FeistyandTasty was started back in January 2019.

3. Is vlogging and YouTube content creation a financially sustainable career?

Well, talking about Vlogging and YouTube content creation, hats-off to those who do both. We think that creating YouTube content and doing vlogging takes much more efforts than influencing on Instagram or any other platform.

There are many fellow bloggers who do that. Many of them are earning quite well. If you do vlogging and YouTube content creation with full zit and determination, we think it can provide you with a very good earning.

4. Who is your favorite creator and why?

Well, we don't have any favorites to be very honest. All creators are equal for us and create very good content.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

Well, we create content, we do a lot of hard-work and when that hard-work pays off, when it reaches out to a good number of people on Instagram or whatever platform we put it up on, it makes us happy.

When our followers demand various recipes for us to upload, when they shower immense love to our content, it keeps us motivated to churn out more and more content. The love that our followers and our fellow creators provide, it keeps us going even when we face a creators block.

6. What does your typical day look like?

We both work as Analysts but since we are working from home, we both are able to create equal amount of content, so a small part of the day goes in that. Else, Prerna is an avid reader, an amazing writer and she paints too.

She is a bookstagrammer too. (You can follow her on @preadsbooks). So, you'll find her either reading or painting or working. Parth on the other hand, loves Music and Photography so he spends most of his day doing the above two too.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

Prerna loves the "Lord of the Rings" by J R. R. Tolkien. Being a huge fantasy lover, she also loves "The Inheritance Cycle" by Christopher Paolini.

Parth on the other hand, doesn't read and Prerna spends a lot of her time persuading him to change that, being an avid reader.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

So, there are a couple of key points for new bloggers -

Don't run after engagement groups ( likeforlike, followforfollow). These things are temporary, they will never lift up your page's reach
You're a newbie, keep calm, be patient and you'll see yourself grow, don't expect that you'll gain followers as soon as you start
Focus on basic things, on how to create genuine content, how to create appealing content, how to click good pictures etc
Never copy anybody, be original, be yourself. You'll shine with time
