1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Hi All, My name is Pawan and I am from Pune. I am a person who is trying to create a glance of happiness on people's faces with a page on Instagram @theaslipawan where I create funny, entertaining content.

Professionally,  I am working as a Software developer in an MNC, alongside I create content and post it on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

2. When did you first decide that you wanted to create content and how did you start?

Journey of Instagram started last November when I got an idea that why don't I do something that's meant to be like it will give me real happiness. So initially I started a motivational theme page and as the time passed I really understood what people actually need.

They need someone who will put a smile on their face. It all started with a philosophy page and then converted slowly to a meme page and I am actually satisfied with the response that people gave to me and my work I am currently putting on Instagram.

At last, I am doing it for me because nothing is more satisfying than someone's smile which is due to you!!

3. Is content creation a financially sustainable career?

Yes of course , as I said I am currently working in the software company and currently my social media hasn’t become my career yet. But when you look at some famous Instagrammers, Youtubers, yes you can say that it is a sustainable career.

4. Who is your favorite creator and why?

There are many like India's best youtubers - BBKiVines, Ashish Chanchlani, alongside some Instagrammers like Sagarcasm and to be honest every person on social media who took out some time and tried to bring a smile on face of other's,
I appreciate their work even though they don't have any big audience, doesn't matter for me.

5. How and where do you find inspiration to churn out content?

Through social media itself, and trending topics on news channels.

6. What does your typical day look like?

It's like a normal one like an IT guy so starts with work and ends with work but whenever I find time I turn to my page to do my favorite work that's all day looks like but in between, I read many blogs which act as mind refreshing sessions for me in heavy work.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

To be honest I am tired of reading books. I love to read web articles. I did read some books but couldn't finish any one of them. But yes, I love to read short articles.

8. What piece of advice would you like to give to future and aspiring creators?

Nothing, just be creative in your way and be kind. If you want to be a creator just make sure that you will add some value in someone's life.
