1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I was born in Delhi and I belong to an army family. My father was a Full Colonel and his last posting was in Ambala (Haryana) where my family is currently settled. It was my mom's dream to see me on TV and become famous. So that's how the journey started.

She noticed my acting talent while I was in the second grade of school and from then onward she had decided to shape me up.

At the age of 13, I did my first cameo for a Star Plus Show" Sajan Ghar Jana Hai". I still remember the date of the shoot was 22 June 2009 when I faced the camera for the first time in my life. And thereafter it was my dream as well to become an actor.

The response that I got from my school and the students for that small TV stint was amazing. I shifted to Mumbai at the age of 16, full-fledged for my acting career, with my father for my first proper show " Rab Se Sona Ishq" on Zee TV.

After that I did various TV shows like Bani Ishq Da karma - ColorsTv (2013), Balveer - Sabtv (2014), Laut Aao Trisha, Service wali bahu, Badi devrani - Life Ok, Zee Tv, and &Tv respectively (2015), Suhani Si Ek ladki on Starplus (2016), Koi Laut Ke Aaya hai and Peshwa Bajirao( 2017), Kaleerein on Zeetv( 2018) and I'm currently doing Shakti on Colors Tv

Also did a couple of films like Ungli, Ae dil hai mushkil and Ek villain

2. Did you ever think you'd be doing TV shows at any point in your life?

To be honest, I was too young to even think about what I'll become and do in life ahead. Had it not been for my mom, dad, and my sister, who supported me throughout and encouraged me, I wouldn't have landed up on TV.

3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to make it on a TV show?

I believe be it any field you will have to face ups and downs in your way. So first of all one has to be ready for that. Getting a job anywhere even as an actor isn't a cakewalk. One has to be really dedicated, focused, and be hardworking. Make contacts, the right contacts, and never lose hope.

Be open to different projects and roles so that you can experience yourself as an actor in different shades and have a learning experience. Never underestimate yourself.

One may not be a very good actor but one's confidence can impress many. Show that you are here to make it big and make a mark as an actor.

4. If not this, what would you be doing?

I haven't thought of this one yet. All I know is that I love acting, seeing myself on TV, and working harder and harder to entertain the audience.

5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?

As I mentioned above hard work is the key to success. If there is no pain you won't gain either. In fact today things are much easier for aspiring actors because there are several production houses, various projects and all the news one gets online as well.

However, never fall prey to people who ask for money and then promise you a role. Like 99% of that never happens and one looses out on money. Before heading into this field one has to be prepared mentally and financially and be ready to face rejections as well.

Some people get lucky in their first attempt. However, it's important to have patience and wait for the right project planned for you. It's destiny play as well.

6. What is your mantra of success?

My mantra of success is to be happy in whatever you do and give it your 100%.
These days everybody wants more in life and nobody is really satisfied. So one should learn to be grateful for what you have at the moment. Dream big or small. God has already planned it for you.

7. Which is your favorite book and why?

I'm not much of a book lover but I like reading fiction and mystery. My favorite novels are of Agatha Christie's.
