1. Tell us about your background and journey.

I was that kid in school who was in every cultural activity possible, which subsequently pushed me to be a child anchor for Sahara one for 4 years and that phase of my life has instilled the ted talker in me that never sleeps.

I can yap on a Mic to a crowd of thousands and I can only hope people will hear me out. I started acting full time in 2019 in March the day I got to be a part of the Sacred Game franchise for the part Navneet (my first project), 14th February 2019.

On the same day, I also got locked for one of the biggest Broadway show that was going to happen in India with a huge production called Green Gold Animations where I got to play the Character Chutki from Chhota Bheem.

I had done a few ads before this, but these two major projects instilled the confidence in me to be a full time actor. In a period of one year I was able to bag these 2 projects 14 ads and a few photo shoots for Brands.

2. Did you ever thought or dream of being an actor?

Like most Indian kids, yes I did.

I would talk to myself for hours as a child and enact scenes but I never really thought I’d go ahead with it because I knew the situation about commercial movies in India. It’s only after the rise of OTT and a luck by chance audition I cracked that has made me constant to where I am today.

3. How can one approach their career and have the confidence and belief to become an actor?

I think the next superstars are going to be from the Internet, and everybody wants to work with the trendy, creative, and spontaneous ones who eventually find the right people when they are consistent. That’s the best thing about Social Media, people eventually find you.

So be consistent and confident (it’ll happen overtime you just have to risk it). Also, the right people will always find you at the right time; they need you as much as you need them.

4. If not this, what would you be doing?

Well I’d work with my dad and mum who have their separate businesses. I also teach French professionally part time and it’s something I never want to stop doing.

5. For a complete outsider with inroads, what advice would you like to give?

There’s no right way, there’s no logic in doing things sometimes and most of the time there’s no money when there is logic. So keep the balance between commercials and barters quite right, you will eventually be reciprocated with what you deserve.

6. What kind of book do you prefer to read?

I prefer Non-Fiction, things that can actually help me in life. Since I like talking to myself a lot get to sip over more conversations.

7. What is your mantra of success?

Keeping going, stop to take pictures, and to help someone on the way. It’s the only way to grow.
