You can call client servicing and the customer care of the ad agency. The Client servicing manager makes sure the guidelines or needs of the client are followed thoroughly and effectively. The client servicing department is accountable for the entire workflow.

Education required for this position is a degree in communication, media, advertising or journalism.

 

2. Media Planning 

Media planners guide the advertising agency to invest their money in the right places to get maximum returns as well as reach the right customers.

Media planners essentially select the right medium to advertise effectively in the company’s set budget.

They do the planning, scheduling as well as buying and booking spaces in different media outlets e.g. newspapers, magazines, TV, radio etc.

A copywriter is a person who writes interesting, creative and out of the box ad copies to persuade a person to buy the advertised product. A copywriter’s job is to convey the company’s message across the customer in such a way that the message is clear and convincing.

A copywriter needs to use words wisely and smartly to lure in customers. A copywriter also needs to carry out research to write effective copies and avoid the legal issues i:e copyright. He/She should also have complete knowledge about the product in order to highlight the key features in the written copy.

You can also work as a freelancer in this field but having a strong and relevant portfolio is a must.

Education required mostly for this position is a degree in advertising or marketing and writing.

 

4. Market Research

The market research team conducts researches to understand the market and consumer needs in order to craft better advertisements, ad campaigns and understand consumer behavior.

These researchers provide the creatives and media planner with a base to craft an effective strategy to increase their reach and achieve their goals i:e influencing the consumers. Market researchers are the reason why an ad agency can understand the market needs and structure.

5. Creative Team
