3. What are some of the major misconceptions about diets and exercise?

Diet and physical activity are the two key factors of an individual’s complete health and well-being. Together, these contribute to retaining overall mental and physical health.

People are always making their own conclusive justification by hearing false knowledge about food and fitness, diet is to lose weight also Fitness is not about weight management.

There are a lot of myths that are passing generation to generation about health and fitness. Moving in the morning or working the whole day never burns the fat; the intensity of the physical activity depends on body type and response will decide it.

Avoiding carbohydrates alone will never make the body fit and strong. Cardio is not only the exercise your body needs and running is not the only way to lose weight. Eating fat never makes you fat.

Sometimes small lifestyle changes will promote good health by reducing the risk of major illness. Evaluation of the right choices you need to make is the new beginning of wellness.

4. How can one maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Healthy living is being conscious of what we eat and how we love our body to keep free from illness. Awareness of being healthy should be the first choice and adapting a healthy routine is mandatory to be healthy in the long run.

Set boundaries to love yourselves and take care of your physical body, both are important to improve our self-esteem and to maintain self-image. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle by adapting what is right for our bodies is vital.

Conscious diet, repetitive physical training, and management of the sleep cycle have benefits of health and wellbeing. Live your passion to be stress-free, take a break to do what you love. Always Shower yourself with positivity to cleanse the dirt of negative energy.

5. How one can build a successful career in your field?

The nutrition field is growing faster and faster nowadays. When I took this course, not many people were aware of it, but now it’s not the same. Now people are more conscious of their health and wellbeing. So one can choose this profession without any fear.

Being successful always depends on an individual how passionate are they in this field. Working hard with dedication and determination will definitely help one to grow higher and higher. In addition to that, one needs to complete their degree and Masters in Nutrition and can work as a Dietician/Nutritionist.

6. What is one piece of advice you would like to give someone who wishes to lose weight?

I would suggest that not to rush in a weight loss journey. Never opt for shortcuts to lose weight quickly. One single product/Food will never make one lose weight. Crash diets are just temporary. Have patience. It’s a beautiful journey.

Start slowly by eating a balanced meal, be regular with physical activities start with 30mins, gradually increase up to 60mins. Drink sufficient water, which will really help in flushing out toxins from your body and last and the most important is managing your stress levels.

Include anyone de-stressing activities in a day i.e., dancing, singing, reading books, gardening etc

7. How do diets and exercise contribute to overall well-being and happiness?

Diet and Exercise help a lot in our overall well-being. Your body is a temple for your soul and mind. Always nourish it with good, healthy food and exercise. What you eat reflects in your body so choose carefully what you put inside.

Healthy food helps us to think clearly and also helps us to stay strong. Diet and exercise help one to lead healthier lives. It helps us to overcome a lot of health issues. Stay positive and stay happy.
