For Us, Food Blogging Is Not Just Photography With Hashtags - Amrita Arora & Juhi Dhingra

We really wanted to share as much as we could with everyone to grow this community bigger because food is life and as they say “Do not Eat to Live, Live to Eat.”

1. Tell us about your background and journey.

Well, our backgrounds do just as much justice as we do to food. We both pursued our career in the study about culinary skills, followed by a self made bakery by the two of us.

About our journey, we honestly never expected we would come so far that one day people would be curious to know all about it. In short, it all started from a night and then the chakras aligned.

There it goes, we almost were the talk of the town being amongst the very rare community of niche food bloggers in Ludhiana City and then we never saw back.

2. What led you to do food blogging?

Food blogging is not just photography with hashtags for us, it is way beyond that. Belonging to a culinary field, we believe there’s a whole language out there which we can use to convey how we feel about food we eat all around the city.

3. When did you first decide that you wanted to create and write content about food i.e. for blogging?

We still remember our first post which was just a basic cappuccino from Nik Bakers and the conversation went like, we really need to share in words what we feel about food, and also some knowledge could be of help.

That’s how we started it. Though we’ve written blogs for our city, our website as well as on the word press but it has always been a constant thing with Instagram.

4. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

We both can relate ourself with a sizzler any day because we have been sizzling like it since day one in the rumours amongst our community because we got immense love. We feel so grateful and blessed to receive such support and love from our followers.

5. Which is your favourite book and why?

Not so relatable, but our favourite book is Top 100 Hotels in The World, its a must read yearly edition for the ones who love to travel explore with a top class experience of the world’s upper east side hotel properties. We both are not into books honestly so that’s about it.
