1. Tell us something about your Background and Journey?
I’m a dentist by profession and belong to an Army Family. I was born and raised in Pakistan. In 2011, I got married and moved to Riyadh (KSA) after which I gave my licence exam and started working there.
When Hibah was born it became a little difficult to manage so I decided to take a career break. I was already quite active on social media and also I didn’t want to sit idle. So I started working on my own blog by the name of Mommy on adventures and now it’s my happy space!
2. What content do you usually post on your Instagram?
Mommyonadventures focuses on lifestyle and everyday basics including styling and fashion, food, travel and much more. I try to discuss and encourage some social issues there as well.
3. How important is it to become Financially Independent for a Woman?
I feel it is really important for a woman to be financially independent because life is uncertain. I have seen many strong women who are completely supporting their families and I find it very encouraging for the generations to come. I try to support and promote home-based entrepreneurs on my page as well.
4. What tips would you give to maintain healthy teeth?
Remember your oral cavity is the window to your body. Keeping your teeth healthy is not so difficult, using a good mouth wash, toothpaste and dental floss is essential. Make sure to visit a dentist every 6 months and get your professional cleaning done!
5. What are your thoughts on Motherhood?
Motherhood is a magical journey indeed! I waited 7 long years to hold Hibah in my arms. The struggle before that was the toughest phase of my life as people around us are sometimes inconsiderate and judgemental. After giving birth to Hibah, I try to manage and balance between my personal life and blog simultaneously. It’s a beautiful journey, indeed.
6. What advice would you give to aspiring Dentists?
Dentistry is an art like every profession, devotion is the key, if you love your profession nothing can stop you. Specially for girls it's an ideal profession, focus and work hard. Hard work always pays off.
7. Who inspires you the most and why?
My mother is my role model and I look up to her because she’s been nothing but strong, passionate and kind throughout her life! She’s always so positive with such calm nature and I hope and pray to be like her one day.
8. Which is your favorite Book and Why?
Hard one.. this one is really old but I loved reading it again and again. Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus by John Gray I love the way he describes couple relationships.
