1. Please tell us about your background and journey.

Hi! My name is Mehak Aggarwal, I'm 21 years old. I have completed my Graduation in 2020 and studying further to become a Teacher. I love to enjoy my every day with my family and friends. I want to become something which makes my parents proud of me.

In the community of social media, I recognised as Ivegetariangirl, (I am the girl who chews veg Food and suggests the same). I was in the first year of college when I started posting reviews on Zomato when we start to study at a new place we try to visit so many foods joints and restaurants so I did and later on I realised I have become a foodie and crossed levels criteria of Zomato.

In the next year 2019, I have created my Food page on Instagram on the advice of my cousin, I hardly post their only when a restaurant asks me to do, yes I visited so many areas in that year, on invites and got my first invitation box for the opening of a new pub.

And just like this 2019 passed. In 2020 after a couple of months in quarantine, I make a move to my page and started posting many new things like short Recipes newer stuff and concentrate on food what my audience like.

I had collaborated with new trademarks and got my first payment from the brands, Realised my capability and make a uniform connection with the Ivegetariangirl. Here I'm today making my food family proud of me and let the community know the favourite places to have delicious food.

But the bitter truth of this journey was- I have listened many harsh words like she visited to eat free foods, met owners of restaurants without knowing of them, you will be fat after consuming all these food & much more garbage which initially makes me weak but now they only make me intense!

If you have your family support you can overcome the society & so I am doing, Looking at the love which you have been giving.

2. Which is your favourite cuisine and dish?

Italian and Chinese both are my favourites. From the Italian section, love to eat Ravioli with a mix of sauce. In Chinese food, every thins and thicks are my favourites.

3. Should food blogging be just a passion or can it become a regular career?

It depends on the consistency of beholder. if you stay consistent on page with good content and collects the organic audience then you can make a go towards a regular career. Otherwise, you can post randomly to fulfil a passion.

4. Which restaurants/food joints would you recommend to food lovers?

In Delhi, Romeo Lane and cafe wink are must have a touring bistro in which you can enjoy every bit of day and night. I'm a person who enjoys street food more than anything. So Krishna Nagar goes the best for that. In conclude- Whole Delhi/ NCR is food joint in itself!

5. What makes you appreciate a particular dish or a restaurant and talk about it on your blog?

Presentation and Taste work as favourable for Me to appreciate them.

6. Is there a dish you particularly associate yourself with?

I love to satisfy my tast-ebuds with momos/Dim sums, i love them a lot and can have anytime and anywhere, so i added momo lover with my name.

And now my audience does associate me- I remember when I visited one of my followers and she praised me with words like- see momo lover is here and she asked me which type of momos I like to have, so ya that was a good-book moment for me.

7. Which is your favourite book and why?

I too had a love story - The only novel till date which touched my heart. It was my first novel that I completed quickly and worth reading. Here come girls factor that we love reading love stories so I do but in the end, this novel gave me a reality check towards life.

We never get something effortlessly so never lose hope and keep trying, Better things are waiting for you️.
